  1. Forgive me if this sounds stupid, but I assumed Spidey was an in-house (Universal Creative) design... When Darkastle was first announced, I was like WTF... is this a product sold by a ride manufacturing company? Are these things just available for any park to purchase, or is it just that Darkastle is extremely similar to the Spidey rides?
  2. Any name would have been better than "Slammer".
  3. The difference? About 1,000 feet of height. ;0) Seriously, I wouldn't be caught dead on either of those two rides. I can handle a coaster's height just fine, but when it comes to Starflyers, or ANYTHING on the Strat Tower, I just wouldn't be able to get myself to do it. MAYBE the "Big Shot" ride...
  4. At this point, is it known which rides are totaled?
  5. I've never heard of the Mine Train or the Rocket to Mars rides... could someone fill me in on what they were?
  6. That inversion looks like it's going to have a long straight "ramp" section leading into/out of it. Not a complaint by any means, just an observation. Thank you for the photos... they've officially convinced me and my girl to go on the 2007 Japan Trip, between that, Zaturn and Tokyo Disney Sea, there's just no way I'm NOT going to Japan ASAP. Thanks again bro, nice looking park.
  7. That kid in the third row of the buffalo coaster is PISSED!
  8. ::pours out some liquor:: Got me thinking, I wonder who'll get the BTR clone should SFNO close down for good.
  9. I can honestly say I really didn't enjoy stitch at all, couldn't finish the movie, couldn't stand the ride, yet AE was one of my all time favorites. I wish MK would bring that back, now that you mention it. Tomorrowland is such a grinder...
  10. I wish they had just improved on Rocket Rods with banked turns and maybe a dark ride section. Either that, or another style "test track" vehicle ride like Journey To The Center Of The Earth. God I wish a US park had that ride...
  11. That steel-chewing machine is badass! Sad to see the coaster go, but maybe they'll replace it with a next-gen coaster...
  12. I posted some concept art... must've had an error uploading. here it is again... Tokyo Disney Sea's Towerr Of Teror will be based on the Hightower Estate rather than The Hollywood Tower hotel.
  13. Holy crap... track's already there? Like the colors already.
  14. Thnaks for the great photos! Glad to see Kumba got some love this season.
  15. SFGADV, although SFNE is my home park... NJ has a great selection of coasters, where SFNE has awesome flats, and Superman of course, but not I prefer GADV overall.
  16. Interesting stuff, thanks to all who responded!
  17. I see the new theming as a great thing, but is it still the Twilight Zone, or something entirely new? What is it exactly that no one likes about the DCA version? I know it doesn't have the hallway scene where the vehicles leave the elevator shaft, but I thought it had some different effects that made the ride unique... I'm riding it in May, I'm sure it will still be great fun.
  18. Tower Of Terror at Disney Studios (WDW) has always been my favorite non-coaster ride since the first time I rode it. It's great to see new versions popping up at other Disney parks, but I was curious to know some details. I was just checking out some photos of Tower Of Terror being constructed at Walt Disney Studios and noticed it doesn't really resemble either the WDW or DCA versions (at least not yet) Also, details are being put into Disney Sea's ToT and while I have read it will be the same ride system as DCA's, it doesn't look like a Hollywood Tower Hotel... Anyone know any details on if the TDS version will be a completely differently themed ride? And is there any concept art of either of these two new towers to show what they'll look like when finished? New TOT construction photos (WDS Paris) http://www.dlrp.fr/actularge.php?id=338 From Robb & Elissa's recent Japan trip. Ooooo... pretty...
  19. Looks like they got a little too much sun...
  20. Yeah, I ripped ebay apart and couldn't find either. I just PMed Jeezus, maybe he can scoop those up for me. Thank you for the help guys!
  21. I can confirm RI is theme park-less.
  22. Well, you learn something new every day. Only a matter of time before they're popular here. Here's two pictures of what these two partiular pins look like... if you happen to see them somewhere, lemme know please. Raging Spirits Journey To The Center Of The Earth
  23. Hey there, Sorry to make an entire topic on this, but I was hoping one of you could help me out. I noticed some of you have been to Tokyo Disney Sea, and of course, TDL, and are of course familiar with the place. I was wondering if anyone knew if the park's attraction pins were available for sale online... (In particular, Journey To The Center Of The Earth and Raging Spirits) I'm having a hard time finding a place that sells foreign Disney pins. I know it's kind of a strange request, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
  24. I didn't really care much for it either. It was completely over-hyped in my opinion. I mean, yeah, it's fun... but I appreciate Test Track and Soarin' a lot more.
  25. Wow, that queue looks fantastic! I have a question though... Is there a choice of seats on the ride? Thank you for the review.
