  1. Nice TR steel... What do you mean by mini giant frisbee? What make and model is the ride? Sounds interesting. Also, forgive my ignorance, but what is the "underground?"
  2. ^It's a Huss Breakdance but not CP's. You should know this one!
  3. Here's mine's... No hint required...
  4. SheiKra, but I've yet to ride Everest...
  5. Ooooo, extreme theming! Looks great now that the lagoon is filled up! How much of this attraction is actually a walkthrough?
  6. I just got back from my first visit but had plenty of tips for the parks from others plus ones I've learned... -At Knott's, head right to Xcelerator and plan on riding Silver Bullet later in the day. Knott's usually opens the park with Silver Bulle trunnin gone train and since SB is right at the entrance, the line gets quite long early in the morning on a weekday in the spring... -Perilous Plunge only ran one boat when I was there and had a bit of a wait in the queue, so I suggest you hit that after Xcelerator. -At Disneyland, head left to Adventureland for an Indiana Jones fastpass and then go right to Space Mountain in Tomorrowland, or vise versa... -Splash Mountain also gets busy, especially if it's hot (it's the only thrill/water ride at the park) I suggest fastpassing it and then riding Pooh,Thunder and Haunted Mansion to pass the time. -At Cali Adventure... hit the sunwheel first if you want to ride the swinging cars. Screamin', Grizzly River Run, and Soarin' all have single rider lines and Tower Of Terror has six loading bays to keep lines short. Hope this helps, have fun and take photos!
  7. Airtime is a big factor for me. I compare all other coasters to my #1 SROS which hasn't budged from the top spot since 2000. Of course, I have other top 10 coasters with no air at all, and love them for their uniqueness... like SheiKra and Tatsu. When it comes to non-coasters, the theming better be good or I won't care much about it.
  8. Announcement is supposed to happen July 24.
  9. I'll have to take a ride to EP (former site of Crescent Park) and see if they still have the ring machine on the carousel. In the summetime, the area usually has a small carnival making it even more worth the visit. Pete, we'll have to meet up at a park sometime or something. Great to see there's another coaster-riding couple in New England!
  10. Cool Tr, Bonfante looks awesome, I'm hoping to go to PGA (will they keep the P?) next time I'm in the area.
  11. Just coming home from the west coast, I hope this thing is going to be something like California Screamin'. Fast and fun... you can keep the records.
  12. Looks like you were in the northeast while I was in the southwest, therefore making a SFNE meetup impossible! Sorry to see the bad luck at Coney island, if it makes you feel any better, I've lived 4 hrs away my entire life and have never been! SHAME! Awesome TR so far, can't wait to see what ya think of my home park.
  13. Really nice photos, and thanks for keeping us posted on ToT.
  14. Yankee Cannonball, by miles. I also like Mine Of Lost Souls... Not too many parks with a dark ride like that anymore. I also like the whole side of the park with the log flume, waterslide, etc., nicely wooded. I'm heading down there this summer when they install their Huss frisbee. I love Huss stuff.
  15. Tatsu, front row, at night in the rain. 7 rides for night ERT and we were satisfied.
  16. Are the new trains different in appearance to anyone who might know... The old ones were pretty damn ugly.
  17. Hey Pete, I work right in Fall River (St. Vincent's on Highland Ave) and pass by the carousel everyday. Thanks for shedding some light on it! There is another brass ring carousel in Riverside, RI near Barrington... not sure if it's still there but I used to go there as a child.
  18. Daaaaamn. Great photos! IJ looks sharp, I haven't been to PKD since they added Hypersonic... Hopefully I'll get to visit PKD during my BGW/Dollywood trip next year.
  19. I love the fact that this Tower will be unique in stroyline than the two "Hollywood Towers". The cursed idol idea is a huge change and with Disney sea's reuptation, this ride won't fail to impress. Speaking of rethemes on classic rides... Is there any truth to the rumor that Phase II for Hong Kong Disneyland (which will bring in Haunted Mansion) will be themed to "voodoo" rather than the usual 'haunted mansion' style,
  20. According to gadv.com, it was supposed to open today. Was anyone there to confirm? Anyway, pay attention to that site, they will have full coverage of El Toro testing! Once the thing's open, I'm there!
  21. Ah, brings back memories... I love how Storm Runner is just EVERYWHERE, launchin gover the path, etc... Great photos, glad you had a blast!
  22. Is THAT what they had in the window of the big gift shop? X? I remember seeing it and being like... what the hell coaster is that suppose to be? If you ever get one, be sure to post pics!
  23. Knott's opened as a theme park in 1968 but had the ghost town section on display in the 40's, so it's kind of controversial I suppose. Quick question- Anyone have the new Mission 2 song for Space Mountain? My girlfriend loved it... Also, is the "Rock It" Mountain track out yet? I saw the youtube video and heard what sounded like the band "hoobastank". Who does the song? If anyone has either of these and they could send them to me, my email address is ECZenith@aol.com Thanx
  24. Good to see credit #215 is ready to roll! I can't wait to see what else is inside the Sky Trolley buildings, hopefully some decent theming! Thanks for the update erik.
