I just about fell out of my chair on that pic of James in the front of that little kiddie coaster with the subtitle "Teeny Weenie Action". Anything for the credit. Eh - if I was there I would probably do it too. -

Any rap. Also the one that I find most irritating - that my ex used to play all the time in my presence is Dangerously in Love by Beyonce. -

Nice! I am actually working on a rocket coaster in NL - and it needs custom panels - so now I have an idea of how to make this one! -

You might want to ride it in a middle row of a car just to be safe. But it has improved greatly. I rode on a wheel toward the beginning of the year and it sucked. I didn't ride again for a few weeks - then tried it again - and it was great. I have done it 5 or 6 times since that BAD ride - and each time it has been even smoother. Now it seems that even wheel seats aren't that rough! A few weeks ago I rode my favorite coaster at the park - Vortex - and got a bad headache. I was going to go home - but I promised a friend of mine on the Beast crew I would stop in and say hi. So I rode - and it was SMOOTHER THAN VORTEX! Then I rode again on a wheel - and it was just as smooth! I couldn't believe it! Of course it varies from day to day - hour to hour - but I would say you would be pretty safe giving it another try. Its great this year! -

Did they have to close for any length of time for the bird - like for cleanup or anything? -
I wasn't even going to go up - I was pretty tired after work. But I went anyway. Got to ride Son of Beast, Face/Off, Adventure Express, Racer North, Vortex and Beast. Beast is running VERY smooth - even in the back of the train! You can see soo much new wood on it. The old wood is that red color - the new wood is just regular yellow-green. Racer was running great too. Nice Delirium/Tower shot. "Who said a wood coaster can't have a loop?" But now it is running great! Son of Beast used to be so rough that only people made out of plastic could withstand the force. Looks like that car either got repainted - or washed with TIDE. Drop Zone's new paint looks great! Delirium is back to its great old self.

I had a bottle rocket in a bottle (interestingly enough) and I decided to hold the bottle. Well my mom said something to me - and I turned to her, lowered the bottle and said "what?" - forgetting about the lit rocket. It went off, hit her in the face, went to the ground and popped. That was it for the bottle rockets that 4th...

I took the stepping on the fender pic - and I worked on the ride. I get yelled at all the time for putting my foot on it when leaning over the train. I can be seen in the DDR photo - and the "non riders" photo. We weren't non riders - we in fact were the first ones to get on the ride. We just didn't want to wait in line. -
Most ride ops on one coaster?
TheKlockster replied to jALIg's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Most I ever saw was at Vortex. We had severe overstaffing for about 20 minutes - and had 3 on load and 4 on unload, plus one in the box. That is eight operators! It actually slowed us down. As far as ops ON a roller coaster - I have seen an entire train load. -

Yellowstone National Park Kennedy Space Center Cedar Point In no particular order - though Yellowstone is probably a solid number one in my book.

I am going to say the drop into the main helix on Son of Beast - or the infamous OMG airtime drop on the end of Tornado at Strickers Grove. Sorry - but the 5th drop on Raven kind of sucks... I got all excited to experience the killer airtime that everyone had been raving about - and it is nothing. Then after 5 more laps on Raven - I still got nothing...

I love shooting off fireworks. Especially bottle rockets!

The HUSS seats used on many of the rides including Timber Tower, and all of the HUSS Giant Rides - come in units that contain two seats per unit. And they do look like inverted coaster cars sort of. -
I know I post ZIP version of my movies to my website - because I don't want people viewing them in their browser. They download it and save it to their HD to view it. Plus it saves space. Dunno why TPR does it though.
