Ok - this just happened - and facts are sketchy. Two of the local channels are reporting from the park - and have showed a train stopped on the lift, empty. I am assuming that it was evacuated. As for the other train - it appears that SOMETHING happened - and that people had to be rushed to the hospital. There was a bump - and the train stopped mid course. At least 5 people went out on stretchers - and as many as 25 could be injured. WCPO News Coverage of Accident I hate to see people get pwnt on Son of Beast. It is one of my favorites!

I wasn't saying you don't - just saying that at least 90 percent of the people who try to start up conversations with ride operators are pretty dumb... Like not everybody that goes to parks is an enthusiast. So sorry if I came across like that. Things people typically talk about to ride operators: "Do you get to ride the rides for free?" "How much do you get paid?" "So... What are they getting here next year?" "Does this ride go upside down???????????" "Have you ever been on this ride? Is it scary?" "Is it pretty gross when someone throws up on the ride?" "Has anybody ever died on this ride?" "If I pay you 5 bucks, will you let my daughter (who is too short) ride?" "Will you ride with me?" Actually - for some reason - I only seem to encounter these types of questions at Vortex and Racer. Having conversations is actually alot easier and more fun at Son of Beast, Face/Off, Delirium and Tomb Raider.

Yeah there are definate similarities between the two tracks... That is pretty stupid to take that and change the track type and color and call it Kingda Ka. Even still its not that great of a ride...

Oh my god.. Its like im back in High School! Every guy was all "EWWWWWW GAY PEOPLE ARE SICK!!... OH MAN THAT LESBO IS SOOO HOT!!!" So yeah.. Its wrong for a guy to be with a guy.. But 2 girls = hell yeah!! That's kind of what t.A.T.u. was marketing on. Turns out they aren't actually lesbians... I like their music though - whether they are gay or not. I know what you mean though. Everyone acts like gay men is so much worse than gay women. I know a few homophobic people - don't know what their problem is.

Ok... Uh - Ill just rate this WWS style, 5 being average... T - 4 - G forces too high - mass support collisions - bad transitions, and the list goes on. A - 6 - Pretty intense - with Gs up to 6. But it is a fast paced ride. O/Acc - 2 - I give 2 points cause it was pretty original - but since it was marketed as a recreation - I have to downvote it big time for Accuracy. Average 4.0 Um...

Smoking Ride Ops? That sounds like something you would see at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom. Actually I don't smoke - but I did take a couple nines in the area between Zephyr and Racer with a friend of mine who does.

Hey Face/Off is a dang good Vekoma! Especially if you start out backwards, in the very back (seat facing drive box).

It seems like Cedar Point has a few magnet rides like Raptor, M Force and Dragster - that can have lines over 2 hours long, while the rest of the park will be totally dead. At PKI - if there is an equally large crowd - 75% of it ends up standing around on the midway making it impossible to walk around - and then just about every ride has a line that makes it not worth the wait.

Do you at least have intelligent conversations with them? It drives me crazy when people are all - "So, do you get to ride everything for free here?" as if they had to pay some kind of fee when they got in line or something. I rarely talk to other people while waiting - but I have.

If you are disabled you can get a Disability guide from Guest Service. Exit Passes are EXTREMELY rare - and HARD to get. The whole time I worked there we never gave any out - and I think I only had to save seats for an exit pass twice. Only managers can give them out.

I am the exact same way. I don't ever do water rides. I don't want to walk around wet, and ride stuff wet. So I can understand exactly where he is coming from.

I specialize in Corkscrew type - so I'll make Magnum or Corkscrew if theres a contest.

Yeah - but the Millennium Force on it sucks. I downloaded one by CT on Coastersims and it is great.

It irritates me. I like some of the old school stuff. Like I bought this cd thats got various artists on it - best of old school rap or something. Its got like Vanilla Ice, Run DMC, Tone Loc - stuff like that. I just don't like new stuff whatsoever. I bought some Rap CDs to give it a try. Snoop Dogg, Nas, DMX, Eminem. After listening to all that - I still hate it. So yeah...
