I was there too, I'm his brother. Here's my comments. 1. Colossus: rougher than I remeber it being three days ago. Yes, that did hurt.....bad......especially slaming my head into the padding hard on the e-stop.......oh well.... 2. Goliath: YOU FORGOT TO SAY HOW MUCH ****ING PAIN I WAS IN DURING THAT HELIX! For all of you who dont know what I'm saying, I shall proceed to explaining. The helix was extremely painful for me. (Most likley due to some problems I had during birth which idont feel like explaining cause it will take too long) Anyway, the helix, cause more than a problem....it caused almost a complete blackout, and made me feel like i was about to die.....NEVER. AGAIN. I dont seem to respond to geforce in the best way many times. I had grey out on batman..... Other than Goliath, that day was great! -
I choose SFMM because.....it's the only six flags park i've been to!!! :l

Your longest coaster drought?
GMAN962 replied to canada's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm not toatally sure....but i think mabye.........2 years without riding a coaster, and mabye.....i'd have to guess 5-6 years without riding a new one, at that time, It started with going to KBF during the construction of Xcelerator, and ended with going to Knott's earlier this summer. -
Well I dont work there, but apparently they were running two trains, and the chip that told the computer where the trains were on the track broke.......they would probably have to get a new one and re-calibrate the system, I dont know how long it would be down.

Okay so it was my friend's birthday party yesterday and it was at Magic Mountain. Lots of fun, here we go. It's gonna be short cause I dont have much energy. Got there at about 11 X wasnt running, we were thinking about mabye going on it, but we couldnt. First we were gonna go to Revolution but there was a big line so we said we're gonna go on Viper, it had a big line and was only running one train so we went to Collossus. On the way we stopped for Goldrusher, just for the heck of it. It was okay 3/10. Then we ran over to Collossus and got on within 5 minutes. My friend lost his hat, but i caught it in time, and then it fell off again! I yelled at him just to be funny. 5/10 We went to SCREAM! next. We got almost last row. Not very intense in my opinion. I think it was a great ride, i give it an 8/10 Then we went to Batman, we got front row seats, I thought it was intense, call me crazy but I did. 7/10 After Batman, a few of the guys wanted to fill their souvnier cups, so we did that, then one of the guys wanted a snowcone and made us wait like five minutes when he was the one saying "COME ON! WE HAVE GOT TO GET TO RIDDLERS A SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!!" So we got to Riddler's Revenge next, it was really fun. We got one of the last rows, and I thought it was pretty darn intense in those rows. Fun ride! 8/10 Next up we walked all the way over to Ninja. It was about a 20 minute wait, so we decided we would go on it, after all, we needed a break after Riddler's. It was fun, but not close to being one of my favorites. 5/10 At this time we realized how hungry we were and ate lunch at 4:00 XD. I had a taco and so did most of the group. It was pretty good. Especially for amusment park food! Next, we were going to go to Deja Vu, but it was a long line, so we decided to walk over to Viper. They were only running one train, so it took a while. I never realized how rough the ride was, I had a headache after it XD. It was okay....6/10 Next, we took a break, and went to the arcade. We played a few games, then my friend's mom said it was time to do the last ride of the day. We decided that it was going to be Goliath or Tatsu. We walked over to Goliath to check out the line. We decided that it was too long, so we were going on Tatsu. We waited i'd guess an hour and a half at least for it. Service was a bit slow, they weren't sending out another trian until the train that came out before it was back in the station. We got fourth row on it. It was like nothing else, it was just completley amazing. The pretzel loop wasn't very intense in my opinion. Then again......they toned it down right? Favorite ride ever. 11/10 After we got off of Tatsu, I bought the on-ride photo. My friend loved it so much, that he bought like 4 Tatsu things, including a shirt and mug. He REALLY loved that ride. He liked it more than my brother. I didn't even think that was possible. We then left. I'll be there again Sunday for vjgx's birthday party! XD I really enjoyed this trip. MUCH better than my last trip.

GMAN962 replied to a7x4ever000's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Sorry you couldnt get on Tatsu again .....but you still had fun on all the other rides right? I'm going to SFMM in 2 days, then going again on sunday, 3 days later, it's gonna be awesome. I wont be able to ride X until sunday though....my friend doesnt like X....haha and i this he's afriad of goliath and tatsu -
I havent, but i think i might on thursday when I go to magic mountain with my friend and we go striaght to batman at opening.......then it wont just be me cause my friend and a few of his friends will be on it....nevermind, I think it would be a stange, empty feeling...haha

It really depends on what the coaster for me, I think that drops that don't turn at all, like if you look at a drop like Scream at Magic mountain, those kinds of drops dont really give me the feeling. If you look at Goliath at Magic mountain, those seem to give me moore of the feeling, if it just doesnt turn in the middle of it, it seems to give me it. I personally don't like the drop feeling.....it makes me shrivel up and feel really weak. I really felt it on Superflight at Playland in Rye, New York, it's wierd I hope you were able to understand what I'm saying, that's just what i think.

Most comfortable?
GMAN962 replied to thrillrideseeker's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Tatsu's seats, and Xcelerator's seats. Those are both very comfortable, especially with the forces involved in the rides. The both push you back into your seat. Therefore the back should be comfortable. Same story with the restraints. -Mike -
Yeah, i mean just think of it this way (This is how I get ove rbeing scared) 1. People Ride them all day long, they get off alive and nothing bad happens 2. Worst case scenario you either have a headache, something like that, or you just rode Tatsu 3 times in a row because there were open seats and you liked it so much, and because of the massive geforces 3 times in a row, you have some trouble walking. (That was not intended to scare you. That will never happen after one ride.) 3. Why not, you'll probably have alot of fun! ________ If you've seen Final Destination 3 (I havent, but i've seen the roller coaster scene), just remebr that's a load of crud, that's never going to happen ever. Oh, and by the way, I love inverts and loopers too! Even though i havent been on many other types I like them alot!

I finally got around to asking my mom and she said no.... ...sorry, I wanted to help, but i'm not gonna argue with her.....

GMAN962 replied to a7x4ever000's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Awww....too bad you couldn't get on Tatsu, Batman, or Riddler's......home you can get on next time. I've heard they were realy fun... alas, i didnt get on Tatsu, Batman, or Riddler's last time...I was too scared after Viper:angry: ....I plan on going on the things next time though. I think i'm going to force myself on them. -
Wow, that's amazing......i mean, you're not finished, but it's somet, take things something bigger and more major than something i would build (I love to build things, take things apart, etc.) That's an amazing feat. When you're finished, you must post a video of it in action. GREAT WORK!
-
I think that's old, i dont remeber seeing things like that around it. Then again I never went over there. I dont think something like that would affect whether it works or not. If your going to Knott's, Enjoy your trip!

Construction? I dont know of any construction around it.

Poll: Favorite Inversion?
GMAN962 replied to timetrial3141592's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Darn, i clicked the wrong one. Mine will say In-Line twist, but my favorite is really a Zero-G Roll....but then again I havent been on many coasters, so i havent gone on many of these inversions.......oh well. -Mike -
What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?
GMAN962 replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm not TOTALLY sure, but i think it was The Dragon Coaster at Playland. My brother and i rode it 5 times. Very fun indeed. A classic you may call it. Not my photo -
Well the most painful would be either the Desperado at Buffalo Bills at the Nevada-California stateline, or Ghostrider at Knott's (I rode it when i was eleven, i had no problem, but when I rode it a few months ago, it was terrible, had a toatally horrible headache. The most fun would probably be........Either Silver Bullet at Knott's or Viper at SFMM (Viper because it was my first looping coaster....even though i was scared to go on the rest of the rides, I enjoyed it.) Those were the two main looping coasters i've been on.

How Many Hours/Miles
GMAN962 replied to eskater132's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
From what i know, it should be roughly 2 hours. We almost went a few weeks ago. when we were in New york, but decided to go into the city (We were staying just outside the city) Not sure how far though.
