  1. I went to the adult swin booth, it's nothing really special, it's just a TV with shows on it, and a postcard book. Didnt miss much
  2. I WAS THERE TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I SAW THE SNAKES ON A PLANE THING TOO!
  3. I would have to say the Dragon Coaster at Rye Playland. EVERYONE'S FAVORITE GOVERNMENT-OWNED AMUSMENT PARK! Lots of fun.
  4. Went to Knott's on Sunday, I had a very good time, but didn’t ride any big rides until about 1/3 of the day was done. My brother, vjgx, went on more than I did, because right now, I’m not a super intense thrill seeker, and I’ve just begun to like coasters. Enjoy my first TR! So we get to Knott's, we go to the sign that shows which rides are closed. Today, it's Perilous Plunge and XLR8R. My brother was really disappointed because of the fact that XLR8R was closed, and later on, so was I, but if you've seen my thread first thread, which is right here http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=25982&highlight=advice you'll know that I was afraid of coasters, well......that's changed alot. We ended up starting at Silver Bullet, at the time i was too scared to go on, but later, i did. More on that later in the TR. My brother and his friend went on it, and we waited outside, they got on and off in about ten minutes. Next, was The Calico Mine Ride, going on this is sort of a tradition of our family, we've gone on it every time we went to Knott's. It was interesting, I mean, I haven’t been to Knott's in at least four years, and we were too scared to go on anything then. Then we went to the log ride, just for the heck of it. It was pretty fun, but didn’t get us wet. I went on this one. Next up was Boomerang, I didn’t go on it, but My brother and his friend went on it. They said it was fun, but a bit rough. I expected worse from a Vekoma, lol. Then they went on Supreme Scream, I was too scared to go on this too. But my brother says it's the best ride in the park. He loved it, and went on it twice in a row. Then again, he hasn’t been on XLR8R, and he wants to go on it, so do I. Then we got Dippin dots. Good ice cream, but way too expensive. haha. We went on Jaguar! Just for the heck of it, fun ride, hands up the whole way. It was way too rough though in the back seat. Not nearly as bad as Ghostider..... Then my brother and his friend went on Montezuma’s Revenge. I was too scared at the time, but later, I would go on it. We all went on the swings. The free air kind of helped us cool off. We then went on Jaguar again....I mean, it's a Kiddie Coaster, but it's pretty fun. I almost tried grabbing a branch....lol We then went to Big foot Rapids.....about a twenty minute wait. Not bad at all. Then we went on Ghostrider....worst........ride............ever.......it made me feel really bad....SCREAMING HEADACHE AFTER IT.........................If you haven’t been on it, don’t go on it. Then I decided I wanted to go on Silver Bullet, I went on it, loved it, and i like roller coasters much more now. I loved it, but I thought the helix was pretty intense........Loved it. Helped me get used to roller coasters big time. Then I decided to go on Montezuma's Revenge three times. I love that launch. That's what totally changed my mind about XLR8R, and made me angry about the fact that it was closed............. oh well.....great ride. Then My brother and his friend decided to go on Supreme Scream again, since I’m still afraid of that ride, I decided to go on Silver Bullet again......I went on the front, right seat. I got a lot of head banging, and it kind of hurt, but I still had lots of fun. After that, it was time to go.......I were all tired by then, but it would still have been fun to go on more rides. Here are some pictures of events in no particular order. All of these photos are mine unless otherwise stated. XLR8R.....THROUGH THE TREES!!!!!!!!!! OoOoOoO Aww man, it's closed again, and they didn't even know what was wrong with it......darn you Knott's Aww man, it's closed........... Second Favorite ride at Knott's in my opinion. 5. I think it was The Dragon Coaster at Rye Playland in Ney York.
  6. Haha, that's good, i'll have to keep it in mind. Another thing is that when i went on the Desperado, I was, I think 8. After it my back was actually in pain. So...i'll probably give thema second chance.
  7. I'm probably going to try giving them another chance, i might go on silver bullet soon.
  8. Hello, i'm new to these forums, one of the reasons i made this account, but not the main reason, was that i would like to have some advice on roller coasters, mainly fear of them. If you are going to call me a wimp, noob, or say any comments that are not useful, please do NOT Post on this topic. Here is my story: I am currently fourteen. WHen i was younger, i had almost NO fear of roller coasters, except for being upside down. My brother (who is also on the forums, but i wont say who he is) was afriad of ALL roller coasters. One of the the only things he would go on was Jaguar at Knott's. I had gone on the Desparado, at the state line near Las Vegas, and I went on Ghostrider. When I went on those, I wasnt afraid on the lift, basically, i was barley nervous throughout the whole ride. The only time I would be scared, was the airtime on the Desparado. It was, i think only a seat belt. I felt like I was going to fall out. On Ghostrider, I had the time of my life. (The last time i was at Knott's was during the construction of XLR8R.) Just recently, I was at Six Flags Magic Mountain. I went on my first looping coaster ever, and the first actually big roller coaster my brother went on. He loved it. He went on Tatsu, Viper, Riddler's Revenge, and Batman. I went on Viper. I loved Viper, but when I went on Viper, I was EXTREMELY scared on the way up the lift. When we got to the top of the lift, and started going, it all went away. . Then, we went to Riddler's Revenge. When I saw it, how big it was, and the fact that you were standing up on such a big coaster, I decided that I was too scared to go on it, and chickened out. I ended up doing the same thing with all of the others, waiting while everyone else went on the rides. My brother is always saying how fun they are, and how i should give them a second chance. The thing is, that for some reason, after Viper, I developed a big fear of roller coasters. I went to Six Flags, anticipating going on all the rides I could, saying that X would be the best, for some reason Viper just destroyed my liking of roller coasters. I want to have fun, I know that they're fun, but I need help getting over my fear of them. I dont want to have to wait all day and get nothing accomplised again. All actaul help will be greatly appericiated. There's my story. Once again, please do not reply if you are going to call me a wimp, noob, or say anything that is not useful. THANKS! -GMAN962
