--As much as I hate Spongebob-- This is a GREAT idea! I mean, kids don't really know who Snoopy is anymore, but they all know Spongebob. Why not go to a place where you can meet Spongebob? I remember when I was like, 6, I LOVED the show. I believe that this is a great idea, and for all that don't, get some balls and toughen up! -
Best And Worst Things Ever
christianscoasters replied to Manny In England's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Worst: Well, this actually happened a few times. At Wild West World, my friend had some glasses that fell off of the ride, but luckily, it had high laterals so it just went into a field rather than 'into' the ride. But anyway, it was the end of the day, and our last ride, so we went to guest relations and told them what happened, so they walkie-talkied them and the maintenance guys said that we had to come back tomorrow to get them! What park has a 'tomorrow' policy? And the lady's like, "The policy is that they can get them at the end of the day." And so the maintenance people argued and argued while the GR lady told them nicely. Anyway, after like 10 minutes of non-stop bickering, we got them back with angry faces to greet us. Best: Hmmm, well, we were at SFMM, and I was so happy that Viper was walk-on and that the ride-ops just let us stay on without having to go back in line. We were the only ones riding for like 8 times! X was also walk-on, but I can't stand that ride. The ride-ops were very friendly, and dispatched a train about every 45-60 seconds! Kudos to them! -
I'm surprised I haven't seen this on TV seems how I watch MadTV all the time! This is the video everyone talks about at school. And yes, people walk around going "I'm gonna betch slap ya' shetbag!" BTW, I bet a lot of you have seen this, but this is just for the people who haven't. This guy makes the BEST videos!

^The front seat on any flying coaster is kewl, but every other seat is the same.

I think RT is just trying to be original (Except for that B&M copy-cat invert). That launched arm-thingy is very odd.

This is what makes me mad. The majority of accidents are in a fair/carnival or are because someone did something stupid! Fairs have temporary rides, so obviously they aren't as safe as permanent amusement rides. Besides, being on any ride or roller coaster is safer than driving a car, riding a bike, jumping on a trampoline, and so much more! I really dislike when people don't trust amusement rides. I remember my grandma telling me a story where she and my great-aunt were on a ride, and the car almost became unattached, luckily, he stopped the ride and they got off okay, but after that, she went to the next ride! I would be too freaked out to get near a ride after that!

Six Flags Magic Mountain TR

At least you got to ride Tatsu more than once . We put a clock on when Tatsu would dispatch a train. 4 minutes. Figures. When we were on it, we sat on the block brake forever. And in the flying position, you don't want to just sit there. But sounds like you had a fun time. I loved SFMM. BTW, when I rode Colossus, I thought it had GREAT air! But it was waaaaay too rough . But not as rough as X. -
What Do You Think the New iPod is?

^^You're right. They're designing the iPod to look more like the iPhone. -

When we were in CA, we saw Flava Flav. Security wouldn't let him wear his metal clock so he had this little plastic one! He was very nice. There wasn't many people, but if you asked him he would sign autographs and take pictures. We were driving through Hollywood and the BET awards were on in a couple of days. There was a lot of people in suits gathered around but they were bunched together so we couldn't recognize anyone. And lastly, again, driving through Hollwood, there was a woman singing, I'm guessing early-mid 20's and some people were gathered around plus tons of cameras. But we couldn't see the singer! -
Wow. This has to be really hard for his family. This New Years, I was woke up at like 3 or 4 in the morning by people screaming and yelling and then I found out that one of my aunt's friend was in a very horrific car crash. This was a very traumatic experience for everyone. My thoughts and prayers go out to Masked Maverick and his family and friends. EDIT: I hope someone finishes the book he was writing in memory of him.

Buffalo Anyway, I have always liked Silverwood TR's. The park is so unknown but everyone that goes there has a great time! I'll have to agree with Airtime&Gravity on the SLC. SLC's may not be all that great for coaster enthusiasts, but judging on what people say the park is like, an SLC would fit it great. And that second to last pic would make a GREAT avatar!

Ummmm, obviously, if you're wanting to get all coastered-out, go to SFMM. When I was there, all coasters were open, and we got VERY lucky with Deja Vu!

^Oh yes. Pet peeves. When they involve roller coasters, sometimes I do scream. Everyone here thinks Mamba at WOF is the tallest and fastest coaster on earth lol. Today I checked out a roller coaster book in the library and God help me, eighty-thousand people came rushing up to me, "Oh that's this!" or "Isn't that the _____?" My favorite was the kid who saw a picture of SheiKra and thought that was the new coaster in "Houston".
