  1. ^^I know two people that are IN Anything Goes! I'm soooo happy for them! I'm so jealous they get to work with Sutton Foster. One of them, when she announced it, she had to turn her Facebook wall off because of the constant posts from everyone! Haha.
  2. About WCB, I think it is a VERY reasonable price! I've only been to SFMM once (back in 2007) and $53 for an EVENT there sounds like an AMAZING deal!!! I'd gladly pay $53 to attend. Gladly.
  3. My freshman year of high school (I'm currently a senior), we had a day where it was snowing. It was expected to turn into a humongo blizzard for two days. At the end of the school day, they announced that school would not be in session for the next two days because of the upcoming blizzard. All it did was rain Ever since then, my school district has been paranoid about canceling school. Today, we have 6"+ of snow and there's lots of ice. There have been 120+ accidents in Wichita, and attendance is around 60-70%. So, according to Wichita school board members: Rain=BAD Snow=Just fine. *Correction: Evening news said there have been 264 accidents.
  4. I thought it was decided a long time ago that this was a steel coaster, just with a wooden structure? If so, why are we complaining about Gerstlauer making the trains? Alright, they have made some bad wooden coaster trains... BUT THIS IS A STEEL COASTER. THEY ARE STEEL COASTER TRAINS... and they look freaking awesome.
  5. I can't believe I didn't know this... Kirstie Alley lives in Wichita. I've unknowingly passed by her house numerous times. It's only 3 miles from where I live. You learn something every day!
  6. Oh, poor Spiderman You would think that with all of the delays and the ENORMOUS amount of money put into it, they could have a decent score/book. However, I've yet to see it, so I'll hold judgement.
  7. ^^^I agree! Even if you hate musicals, Avenue Q is THE show to see. It's just non-stop laughs. Not to mention, it's a parody of Sesame Street. That should totally attract a few more people. OMG I LOVE Avenue Q!!! The humongous puppet behind the set scared me a bit though. ^^Holy shiznit THAT will be hard to pull off! I would love, love, love to do Phantom, but that is one of the most difficult shows to do. The singing is extreme. I have a friend who is doing that show in February at his school. I'm hoping to go see it. Their voice teacher played the role of Christine in Los Angeles years ago. I'm sure it will be fantastic.
  8. While still not much different from "Dare Devil Dive" (same name as Skycoaster), the logo makes it appear like it will be named Dare Devil: Dive Coaster. Get what I mean?
  9. We just finished up Hairspray a few weeks ago! Such a fun show. Three high schools (including mine) in Wichita are doing Hairspray this year. Mine and another school have already completed it, and there's one other school that is doing it in the spring. They have their "spies" that have been at both shows NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU NEVER SAY GOOD LUCK!!! SAYING THAT IS BAD LUCK!!! You say "break a leg!" Why? Well, what heals a broken leg? A cast!!!
  10. ^^Everyone has different taste. Anywho... I'm SO GLAD that these past few episodes weren't focusing on a theme or a big star coming in. It's about damn time Glee has a plot that starts moving forward rather than staying in one spot. I don't think Kurt will last at his new school. He IS part of the New Directions Glee Club. You could tell that at his new school (I forget the name) that he wasn't too fond of how he can't stick out. I think that the episode foreshadowed him coming back to McKinley High. Poor Puck Oh well. He's still hot. So... Um... What's with the new girl in the Glee Club? I felt like adding a new member to the club was important but she really wasn't focused on at all. What was with her saying "I hate show choir" right before the show and refusing to eat/drink (I think? I might be confusing it with something else) then working her ass off during the performance?
  11. There's a raccoon in my yard. Sarah Palin is currently signing books just 5 minutes from my house. I'm gonna get a disease and lose my freedom all in ONE DAY
  12. I've never had a real relationship before. I DID go on a really awesome date last night though It was great... Until my mom showed up.
  13. ^It's well-known that he will be Kurt's boyfriend. It's been out there for a while.
  14. I have a college audition on Friday. I also have bronchitis. FML.
  15. Favorite places that I've been: -NYC -Georgia (Savannah, small towns, country-side, etc.) -Denver/Denver Area/Mountain Towns -Santo Domingo and Boca Chica, Dominican Republic (Everyone is GORGEOUS there!)
  16. And once again, I bring up my marvelous idea of putting a coaster station in Flying Coaster's old spot and having a mega coaster (Intamin/B&M anyone?) go throughout the park. Because The Flying Coaster is right by the parking lot, some supports can make use of the little "islands" that are already in the parking lot with grass and trees on them. The ONLY coaster that is original to EG is Twister II... It's not even that fun. PLEASE get a decent coaster, EG. PLEASE. There's just no major draw to the park, but a coaster that goes throughout the park would be a GREAT addition.
  17. Glee sucked last night.
  18. YOU LIE!
  19. Sam is going to be Kurt's boyfriend! Geez, isn't it every gay guy's dream to date the freaking sexy quarterback?
  20. I watched Wicked online and was disappointed. It was enjoyable, but I definitely wasn't drawn into it. Sure, it has amazing moments like "Defying Gravity," but I just didn't think the story goes deep into the characters enough and the story moved awfully quickly, in my opinion.
  21. Yup. 6 characters, four understudies, for a cast of 10 I know plenty of people who saw N2N in NYC, and Alice Ripley let them take pictures WITH her, which she never does! She also added them on facebook. Too cool. Which version did you see on YouTube? Was Brian D'Arcy James playing Dan? If he was, I'm 95% sure you saw the pre-Broadway run. The show had some tweaks before it transferred to Broadway, so you'll see some differences when you see it in San Francisco. I'm so jealous that you're seeing it. It's not coming anywhere near me. If I happen to travel to see it, that would be great. Alice Ripley is playing Diana on the tour! YAY! Also... The Broadway production is closing in January
