OMG! I have always wondered what the tongue was! I have always regarded it as a cutback (see pic above). But yeah I absolutely loved this ride, but I rode it back in June and it was incredibly rough! Was really disappointed with it. It's a great ride when it's smooth.

Man I also hate it when people say this, but this time not so much. It wasn't there fault and it was very unfortunate of them to experience something like this. I guess since he is a Dad, he is just trying to protect his daughter. By the sounds of it he nows see amusement parks in a new light and doesn't trust them at all.

I've been to Parc Asterix a good few times and was actually there in June. I don't about October, but the smallest queue I have seen for TDZ is 45 mins. It's normally about an hour. When I was there in June they were only running one train and it was actually a 2 hour wait from the 1 hour point, and as soon as we got to the front, thats right, they put on the the 2nd train! Oh yeah, go for the back! Goudurix, I would say aim for the middle/back. But not right back! Thats always about 30-45min wait, but completely empties nearer the end of the day, as people are mostly aiming for one last ride on TDZ. The front is definitely the worst place to sit. My friend and I went to the very front and for the duration of the ride we were screaming in pain. Literally! Plus the pain doesn't go away for a good while after riding.

Yeah thats how I feel. I always enjoyed his posts, he always either said something informative, funny, or both. My prayers go out to your friends and family. RIP man.

OMG! That place looks awesome! We have smaller, less awesome place in Glasgow called Xscape which has a a ski slope and a Robo-coaster. Been meaning to go try the Robo-coaster for months now! Looks fun. Great pics!

Wow that looks great! Crazy...but great. Would definitely go on it if given the chance...oh wait, I live in Europe! Yeah I have ridden both. They are immense. Experience is probably one of my favourite flat ride. Oh I can't wait for the SECC carnival in december now!

Man, I've not been to Thorpe in years! It's change so much since I was there! Last time I was there they were just starting to construct Colossus! Nice TR by the way!

OMG! I'm so sorry to hear that! It just shows you what some people are like in our society. I have 2 dogs one 16 months as well and one 5 months, I really don't no what I would do if they got hurt. My prayers go out to you tonight. I really hope you feel better soon.
