  1. ^ So it is a good name! Just to point out, this ride will feature 3ds. However, I forgot I don't have a 3d creator anymore and I can't get the download for it to work. Does anyone know a simple 3d software I could use instead.
  2. Looks cute. I'm sure it will be good, is there an accelerator that isn't.?
  3. Its a good old Rechervon (sp). Nothing spectacular to be honest. This thread should be locked me thinks.
  4. Name announced. SHAFT OF THE DEAD Good?
  5. This will suck. Why? Because its a sequel. Honestly this looks great. I love how your using a unique format for it. It should be great.
  6. Looks nice but will it feature original elements?
  7. I'm giving them credit for trying it out even if it is bad. Mind you it 'looks' impressive. Check out these photos. www.indianabeach.com/blog/
  8. Looks fun. It doesn't appear to be a threat to any ride in the top ten but it still looks like a good ride.
  9. ^ Its my fourth one actually. EDIT: Check this out. www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/u1918
  10. Here's a teaser. Gargautuan-080528101402000.bmp
  11. ^ That one was a bit uncalled for.
  12. Excuse me for a second and tell me what this whole 'Nuking the fridge' thing is about?
  13. Dreamwork movies are the most uninventive pieces of movie making I've ever seen. I do admit their fun to watch but nearly every movie they make (apart from Shrek 1 & 2 and possible Antz for its adult nature) is just a lazy creature movie stuffed with weak jokes. Pixar on the other hand is the only saving grace in animation at the moment, only they can use CGI animation to the full and offer some spell-binding and genuinely funny movies. The only other company that I can think of is Aardman, to bad they only come along every 5 years. While we are on the subject of animation, we have to be witnessing the downfall of movie quality. Nearly all the animations we see today are dumb joke movies. The worst culprit in this downfall is Disney,. They were producing astonishing movies as late five years but then Treasure Planet came along. Due to no fault of its own (it was a great movie IMO) it bombed in the box office and Disney got it into their thick little heads that those types of movies were no longer in 'fashion'. Now were stuck with films like Chicken Little.
  14. I would love to see you complete this ride properly one day. It is a fantastic ride and its a shame it isn't fully complete. I don't like the idea of extending it though, its long enough as it is.
  15. RIDE RELEASED (as a video, download doesn't work) Recently I have realised that I am being stalked by a bad-luck charm. Why, I don't know. All I know is that whenever I start a ride which I think has potential, it slaps me in the face and delete's itself. This time I waited until completing the layout before posting to avoid disappointments. This I have done and now I present to you: Project New beginning Mark III This ride is going to be different to what I usually make in a lot of ways. I'm not going to reveal much yet unless you guess something the ride will feature, you might get a yes or even a picture, it depends what mood I'm in. Thats all I think.
  16. Astonishing ride but it isn't the best I've seen but still its the best thing I've ridden in a long time. The layout is top-noch but what makes it better for me is execution. This isn't smooth, this is 'smooth-as-a-babys-bottom' smooth. Why isn't it my favorite though? Well, it down to your finishing touches that let it down. When a tracks this good, I expect everything else to be good as well. The pyramid was brilliant but the fact that it didn't touch the ground distracted me a bit. Other things like stations peeking through walls and unfinished tracks also contributed as some distractions. I know you can't help it at times but thats why you have to work round that, even if it means cutting things you love. Overall I think you nearly nailed it with this but when a rides this good, it needs more than two days work to finish it of.
  17. All I have to say is Speilbergs ego is 'out of the world'. (don't kill me for that pun) I love Indiana Jones and I'm looking forward to this. I do know the ending but thats it, it should be fun to say the least.
  18. (not in a good way but not in a bad way either)
  19. Four names in five years. This is hilarious! This park has so much potential to be like Indiana Beach, to bad they can't even name a ride properly.
  20. Its a controversial subject, of coarse someones going to complain about it. I'm not the biggest fan of the idea either because showing a recreation of real events can be disturbing for some, especially when your manipulating a game in order to do so. I'm sure this will turn out to be a technical marvel like your other movies, I'm just a bit uncomfortable with watching a video game unintentially mimicing the pain of the people who experienced it for real.
  21. Nice idea but the rides nothing to brag about. It exeeded in mediocre-ness.
  22. ^ To be blunt it was as pumpy as hell. I wish I could go to Holiday world. I love woodies more than steel coasters and I know I would love this, even if it is rough. I'll stop whining now!
  23. I love these mad, stupidly built rides because there so much fun but I still think you should try to work out pumps.
  24. For its inventivity, quality and its ability to serve the needs of all its clients. Intamin is in a league of its own. For second place I would go for Arrow, they might not be the best rides around but they were inventive and also catered for various clients.
  25. It was quite good, it was great to begin with but heading towards the helix it started to feel sloppy and rushed. If you work on the ending this could be a worthy re-creation of the ride.
