  1. Considering this hasn't been done before (I couldn't find anything), I thought I would start a thread to find out people's personal favorite. Rules are simple, tell us what your favorite coaster is and give use a link to it. For me, I would say my favorite ride on TPR is The King by ced. Any ride that remains fun after 4 minutes is certainly a ride worth going on. www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=42999&highlight=king Now, cosidering other sites (actually just Coastersims), nothing can compare to these five rides. I would post a link to them but you have to be a member of Coastersims to see them. -Megablast by xBUSTERx -Expedition WeeForce by redunzelizer -Silver Mountain Mining Co by Zazu Yen -Colder Fusion by Macevhicz -Thunderhead Falls by Phyter
  2. Technically I thought your last movie was more impressive (can't remember the name for my life) but thats like comparing 'Independence Day' with 'World Trade Center'. As a film, I thought the intention was fantastic. However, I thought the pacing was tedious at best (eg. repetitive shots throughout) and at times, it felt emotionally dry. I wouldn't worry though, its a ridiculously hard feat to do on a video game because lets face it, all you can effectively do is eye-candy. As Dbru said, the music was fantastically chosen. It really set the mood for the film. I wouldn't call this film your best work, but certainly your most effective. My verdict Despite its short comings, Katrina offers a facinating journey into the events it name represents. 7/10
  3. It was a fair attempt but the ride itself needed a lot of work. Your constant use of trims and that MCBR really let the ride down but your layout was just plain awful. The good -Nice pacing for the first half of the ride The not so good -Illogical layout (you should never need to stop the ride completely to keep the forces in check) -Constant use of trims (prehaps the chain lift was a bit too big) -Horrific pacing during the second half (due to the MCBR) -Despite the trims, I'd say the forces are still a bit to strong. -Slightly Jerky/Pumpy trackwork My verdict The illogically bad layout destroys what could have been a nice ride. 3/10
  4. Favorite woodie: Grand National by a landslide. Favorite Steel: The Ultimate but it probably would be Nemesis if I rode it.
  5. ^ Its the heartline of the track. You can put it on to help you create your track.
  6. Quite a nice ride you got here. I don't know about anyone else but I found it really fun! The good -Nice first drop -Superb pacing -Superb layout The not so good -Minor but frequent pumps during turns -Un-needed Mid-course brake -Lacks any signature moments My Verdict Fantastic pacing makes up for those minor set-backs 7/10
  7. Ever though an in-side out loop was impossible, think again... (Just a little something to kill of some time, I'm still working on my other rides) Airtime2daMax.nltrack Normal Track file
  8. He usually justs puts up death coasters and pointless recreations. I have to admit he's getting better though.
  9. I think this is one of the more intersting things you have posted on this site.
  10. No idea why I use this avatar, I just saw it while I was Googling. It pretty sweet though.
  11. I'm sorry but I have to agree that those colours are awful (according to the picture). The ride itself looks nice though, even though I'm not the biggest fan of shuttles. BTW You didn't have to be so rude to him. He was only asking and unless you haven't noticed, most people do waste their time to make POVs for those without NL. Its a magical thing called I like to call 'kindness'. Just remember that for future reference.
  12. Great stuff, thank for spending time with us here. I have one (maybe two) question, how long does it usually take to design a coaster and what processes do you have to go through?
  13. Another photo: www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/i38884 I'm starting the 3ds soon so stay tuned.
  14. ^ Jesus, we don't want to work him to death here.
  15. Heres the replacement for the cokscrew: www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/i38830 Enjoy!
  16. First things first, Wich=Which. As for the ride, it was very good but not amazing. I thought the idea was quite good but it could have been utilized a bit more at parts and the supports, though impressive, don't 'mesh' with each other. The Good -Awesome support work. -Nice idea. -Original elements. -Mostly smooth trackwork. The not so good -Though it may look original, its nothing more than a spinner that happens to be on water. The track didn't use the water to its advantage as it should of. -The suppports style isn't consistant enough. My verdit -A sweet little ride which, with a little push, could be a great one. 7/10
  17. The layout has been completed. As you can see, I've outdone Son of Beast in every aspect including inversions. I don't know if I'm keeping the corkscrew or not so don't be suprised if its not there on the final ride. I'd like to know what you think so if you don't like it, please tell me.
  18. Donkey love rating=Amount of posts Random Titles can be requested from the Title fairy in one of the sticky topics on this forum. Hope that helps!
  19. Because I have nothing better to do, I thought I'd leave a photo just to show the size of this beast. I'm also renaming the ride 'The Challenger' (for originality purposes). As I said above, I'm still working on this thing but I'm not going to decidate my life to it.
  20. ^ It probably will get finished at some point. This ride along with Back to the future will be built over time, I'll add to them if I have nothing better to do. I'm still going to make other rides while these are under developement, it just these particular rides are going to a little than usual.
  21. In true Dbru style: This is an awesome ride. The layout was ingeniously designed and its execution was just unbelivable. I wouldn't call it the best woodie I've ever seen but its certainly one of them. The Good -Superb layout which succeeded in the 'I didn't expect that' factor -Great pacing -Astonishingly smooth -Exceedingly fun The not so good -A few trees would have been nice -Short length My Verdict A genuine example of quality over quantity. 9/10
  22. Hmm, these stations...too upwards. Lets flip it over, make it funny. lol Seriously thought, I'm really impressed by this. Not only is it original, it looks really fun. Lets hope its as good as it looks.
  23. "New evidence has just been found regarding the Brown case. It has turned out that the project hasn't been canceled at all. Instead he has relocated to a new location a few miles down the road, it appears he is starting again from scratch. This is good news because it means we can now monitor the progress from day one. We will release some info when it comes but in the mean time, you can just sit back and relax. Remember, anything is possible when it comes to time-travel..." EDIT: We have just received a photo from our inside men, they tell us that the project is still going under alterations as we speak. I'm not sure what it is but its something.
