I STATED the track type in the rules. The "Hyper" is a B&M track type. You do the math. If I have a question about the rules, and it looks like you forgot something, that most-certainly has something to do with the contest. I can't ask you anywhere else if I have a problem, because you cut off our MSN contact, and you forbid me to mention it at CS. No, you never stated that we were using the B&M hyper track type, you said "Round One Contest Coaster: FOREST B&M Mega/Hyper". That could either: A) It must be a B&M hyper track or B) it must be a hyper or mega coaster built in the B&M style. Since you don't specify which, people can get confused. Don't try to fool yourself into thinking the contest/rules are flawless. The sooner you learn that you're allowed to make mistakes, the better off you are. Not according to you...
  2. You lie. The reliabilty of rating has nothing to do with how long you've been making rides. You lie. AHG will make your heartline perfect. Quite why people think AHG is a smoothing tool is beyond me. [First Quote] Yup, and with the rating aspect, it's never completely accurate from one rate, because that is one persons opinion. For it to be accurate it has to be an average of many votes, that generalizes the opinion if nearly everyone that rides your coaster, one vote is just that, one vote, from one person.

  5. IMO, CS users are way too easy on their rates, my coasters have gotten 8's and 9's, and ride bust a move-they're not that fantastic... And fantasy rides don't get lower ratings, I meant that fantasy rides that are put under the realistic category are ripped to shreds.

  7. This got an eight? And you were asked if you mastered FVD?!? I don't know, but textitan being the only person who rated your coaster at WWS kind of makes that rate unreliable. Or I'm dreaming, but I think you should have at least five rates before you can say "Best rated coaster I've made- It got an eight!" Sorry, but I'd give it about a 6 - above average, but you really need to work on some things. First of all, the launch was fun, but I could feel nearly every node placed on this ride, There were jerks in nearly every corner and the banking had very bad wobble. The AHG seems to be something you need to use, it will help you out. Some of the inversions were misshapen, and there were a lot of odd sections. It was alright, but either perfect your heartlining skills, or use the AHG. Thought I'd point some things out. Keep building man!

  10. You have a bronze medal.... And.. "Old Moorepark Road" isn't a realistic ride, and they tend to be downrated, and I'm sorry to say, but your ride would've gotten about a 5.7 from me. [Vjgx] You do realise that a 5 is average, and anything above that is above average? A 6 is pretty good....
  11. Gah, that's pretty tacky, I think you should variate the roof a bit more, add some more detail to it, maybe a few more levels. Download Cook's vaulting set, it will help you. It will also look really good if you use some of the Columns from Marnetmar's Egypt set. Windows would look nice too. Thought I'd help.
  12. Are you people joking? Coastersims is incredibly easy to get good rates at... the people there will call anything smooth. You can have an incredibly pumpy ride, and they'll call it smooth. People rate adrenaline ten out of ten, but they never even say why.. Coastersims is NOT high standards by any means, and anyway, people just don't rate there in the first place. It's a fantastic website but people are way too easy on the rates.

For keeping the station level, try taking those single gray pieces, the ones with one connector, and the hole in the other end and connect one of them to every single rod on the station, then, take the largest rod you have and put it through the holes on the end of the gray pieces. The pieces I mean to connect to every roof rod look like this:
  14. Read the first section of the rules, stop being stupid and looking for loopholes. B&M doesn't make wooden coasters. They made the trains on cyclone, and it's mowed over now, and I doubt they'd build them again. And anyway, B&M has never made an entire coaster. Added you BiCoastalKid, removed you VFB

  16. Perfectly fine, actually pretty good for a non-AHG'd coaster. I hand heartlined it.

  21. Guys, if you get your rides in soon, I may not be able to rate them for a bit, so if you send me your coaster and your name doesn't change colours, it's because I have some school stuff to do, but all rates will be done, don't worry.
  22. No you don't... all you have to do is have your track connected to the station...
