Don't buy a 360 without a harddrive. You're just going to buy a HD later when the 512MB isn't enough for game patches. It really is there to make the 360 appear cheaper. You can downloaded XBLive Arcade games on HD-free, but then again you'll run out of space faster then a wii owner who uses wiiware. In review: Buy the 360 with the HD, or a PS3 80 w/MGS4. Both are about the same, buy based on exclusives (do you want to play LittleBigPlanet or Banjo?), and if Blu-ray matters. Online is better on 360, but the PS3 is getting better (2.4 firmware helped a lot), and free. Movie-wise, 360 has better store, but PS3 has bluray. And Left4Dead and other PC-originally games (which there are fewer and fewer of) will run better on 360, because the 360 uses basicly the same APIs as windows (DirectX, hence Xbox) Summary:Both are good, buy 360 w/HD or any PS3

Windows takes forever to boot(or is in too...crap I have no idea). I need to reinstall....but I don't want to (or too, I don't remember, my brain is still in Team Fortress mode).

Looks like a mediocre post-HL2 shooter. Could it be good? Yes, but I have my doubts. The team, High Voltage Software, know for making nothing that anyone has ever played, could make a masterpiece FPS. Hopefully its the kick ass 3rd party game the wii needs, but I really have no interest of playing another single-player shooter, with "unplayable" to "good" multiplayer. The wii is just a weird market for traditional games. With a huge causal presence, making Carnival Games 69 for $500,000 might sell as well as an amazing Kid Icarus 2 which took $15,000,000 to make. I think that's why we haven't seen any Valve or Epic or id on the wii, there just isn't a market for the "core". Quake, Portal or UT would be really fun on the wiimote, but the audience that wants these games already has a "next-gen" console or a PC. Though with Quake Live and BattleField Heroes around the corner, both of which will run on the wii just fine; maybe the year of wiiFPSs will come, as semi-causal Multiplayer shooters.

Maybe I'm just a jaded gamer that's still addicted to TF2, but nothing this year looks that good. The Nintendo stuff will sell amazingly, but none of it excites me. For Sony, woo R&C:Pirates Booty, but other then that, nothing. The 360 mii's look OK, but a little far in the"uncanny valley". Gears 2, like the first game, is in "it's cool but not that cool". Game-wise: No ActiBlizsrd® means no new info on Starcraft 2 or Diablo 3. Mirrors Edge looks interesting, Left 4 Dead is as cool as ever, the Portal mini-expansion pack seems to be a way to give Xbox360 owners a standalone Portal. Was hoping for something about Half-Life: Ep3 and TF2 class updates, and the somewhat-rumored Counter-Strike 2. A true sequel to Counter-Strike, holding to the core idea but bringing the gameplay and visuals into the 21st century might be the greatest game ever, at least until the CS 1.6 fanboys ruin the game. Still hoping for some "core gamer" wii games (MadWorld looks...interesting, Duty 4.5 I'd rather play on PC or PS3), and a good MMOFPS (someone, somewhere, must be making one). Left 4 Dead might just make me get a better computer, or if the game works on the 360 a 360. Note: Have a PS3, Wii, and barely BioShock-capable PC.

Other then that, Brawl is good, its online sucks, the new stages (Mario Kart stage FTW) kick ass, the singleplayer is...weird And I haven't played TF2 in...days

Dragons...but... Top Gun is a great ride, well paced, fast, short, and intense, with a great lakeside location. But it just isn't something I would say "You MUST go to Great America!" for.

You're really choosing between a (somewhat crappy) water park, and an animal park. Coaster-wise, about the same, with one park having a good-but-not-amazing wooden coaster and floorless (SFDK), and the other having good-but-not-must-ride invert and drop tower (CGA). Both of the parks aren't amazing, and I would say go to SCBB, especially if you've been on a good invert, and don't care about animals. Full disclosure: Haven't been to SFDK in... many years (guessing 2000... wow that was 8 years ago). Then again, the 1.5 hr drive to Vallejo vs the 10 min drive to Santa Clara or the 45 min drive to Santa Cruz might have something to do with that.

When have you last installed windows? Windows as an OS gets slower over time, so a fresh install should improve speed overall. Also upgrade drivers for video cards, check that ram works (if ram dies, your computer will feel it ), get dust out of case, and check to make sure other games work.

^how is Brawl? Does the level editor/online play work? For me, Lots of Team Fortress 2. I don't want to check Steam to see how much I've played, but it isn't good. (In fact, I would be playing now, but my brother has gaming computer time)

Mission Space v2 or even a straight clone somewere in tomarrowland will make me very happy.

^ It doesn't really matter with the "single seat" logs they now use, with each rider getting their own backrest. (Edit: I think even the signs say "sit anywhere" or something like that) The change is good for me though, as my brother can no longer sit in the front...

Yes, it will cost you $20 per hr for each of the slides (they need 2 lifeguards per slide), but I like the best watersides in the park. *On that note, build some more slides, maybe one of thoughs cool racing type slides the other Great America has, or a Tornado, or a Deluge, something... *Make the food....taste good. Magic Mountain: *Move X's crew to Tatsu and use both stations (hanging for 3 min isn't fun) *AC more then just Superman's line, so we can be cool waiting for something good. Disneyland/California Adventure: *Single rider on Space Mountain/Indy please. *"Guest without bags" line, like....every other Disney park *NO MORE HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL STUFF!! It might make a ton of money, but it really is....annoying. (maybe the caps will make them see my pain) *Make Nemo worth the wait

Semi-Nerdy PS3 question: Can it output wacky 16:10 resolutions? I have a LCD monitor (1440x900), and I want to play games on that when the good TV is in use.
