Well... since no one else wants to post any screenshots I guess i'll post some more... Zero-g roll! I pulled a color scheme out of my head but it looks like it works! Cobra and dive loop! With not much space to work with I designed the station plainly and trying to work on the exit path now. The park paid me a crap load to work this out! Yeah thats a LIM to slow it down just a tad for the haul back to the station... I decided to play around with some 3D's for the first time.

Unrealistic is like having transport track in an inversion or something like having the station 100ft in the air from the start!

Well i'm done with my coaster! I dont have any 3d's or anything cause this is a coaster contest right? It's not the longest coaster or anything but it's pretty cool and unique AND stays within the realm of reality. Here's another teaser shot showing what I like to call "decapitation"

After downloading all of those coasters I have to say I cannot vote for any of them. They were unrealistic and posed lots of problems if it were a real coaster. I think what happens when people enter contest like that is they always try to go for "original" but they tend to leave the world of reality in favor for that "cool" looking design. So I vote for a DO OVER for this contest!

I think the coaster looks cool. I see alot of people saying they would rather have a non-looping coaster. Well, that is what mummy, woodie woodpecker, and flying unicorn are lol

Im gonna try to get them to turn it into a redneck themed zone! Change hurler to rebel yell and paint the confederate flag on the front of the red train! Change the name of the go-karts to two-bobs do-hickeys and of course drop zone to Grill - the ride! The park does look weird w/o any theming where there was theming. lol cant let him see you say that he already has the "big head"

I got off work friday morning at 7am and realized it was the opening of carowinds (yeah strange for a friday to open a park). So I came home and woke up Sean and said we are heading to carowinds! Sean is from cali and all he talks about is SFMM and disneyland so I figured it was time for a "change". We get to the park and first thing he ask is "are there rides like the haunted mansion?"...after our long talk about his soon-to-be encounters of attack of the trashcans and the difference between cedar UNfair and disney parks we were ready to go in! Our first ride was BORG/hawk, which to my amazement he really liked! The sign for the coaster is NOT complete and I dont care what the park may say I feel the sign is in it's first stage. Now correct me if i'm wrong but didnt the park just have an offseason? So...why isn't there a finished sign for the coaster! It's not like they are installing a huge B&M hyper coaster and took up their time (oh yeah have to wait until 2010 for that ). Anyway...as it as been mention the sphere isnt there anymore and the area looks very boring without it. We made some rounds around the park and rode pretty much everything. The yo yo's looked fun but not for me. The flyers are the highlight of the park and with that and top gun I dont know how the park would do w/o them! Is there any other cedar UNfair parks w/ this much scenery? I still look tired... This is my favorite area of the park. I just wished the rest of the park would have the carolina theme. I can see a redneck area where hurler is currently pretty much the norm the whole day SAME shot this time B&W Same shot w/ shadow added to bring focus to the subject. This was the best shot of the day, simply because I took it! It kinda sucks to have people know you are a bootleg photographer because they ALWAYS want free shoots! I'll call it "grill - the ride" I have to admit it...this tower always gets me! DANG IT Sean! This is NOT hong kong disneyland! I'll pay anyone 100.00 and bail for making a sign that reads "golden" and then go to the park and nail it above the "shower" sign! "Im not a real model but I like to tell myself that" After being up since 9pm the prev night I think im pretty beat! "I cant believe it's 6.25 for a 16 ounce cup of beer" Now after seeing the prices lol! ...and after finding out they have margarita's also. Sean after finding out we're on the way to get some beer! Ya know its kinda "sad and pathetic" when you have to feel up a character cut out! Heh heh... Talk about cheating death! This coaster watched final destination one too many times! E-M-P-T-Y relaxing area I like the closeness of southern star but I would like it more if there was some water around it. This is my kinda park - EMPTY! Im sure it took months of planning to come up w/ the name and logo. The new yo-yo kinda really does fit in. I welcome all flat rides! New theater sign....aaaannnnddd sean. This coaster will never really need a paint job! See paramount was smart about something! (or could it have been they couldnt figure out what color to make it and ran out of time lol) Gotta love this shot! PLEASE cedar UNfair if you have any ounce of dignity PLEASE keep this on the station for old time sakes! ...and another picture for myspace. Sean needed a smoke break... The restrooms were pretty clean! One thing I can say is the characters were out in full effect! It just looks empty now... LAME! Something doesnt look right... And here I am in all my glory! Relax I still have the hair it's just "compressed"! riddlers....err...vortex taking on the first drop! I even called vortex Riddlers Revenge! "Hi, i'm Sean and I cant stop talking about Superman Ultimate Escape, even though it's sooo 90's" The "not-so-cool looking like the BORG Ass sign" sign. Is this a rhetorical questionlol? Who wants to be seen using a last season cup! That is sooo uncool and can tarnish your reputation! However I do remember using a spongebob cup I got for free, when carowinds added nick central, up until last year! Even took it to kings dominion and got some cheap refills!

^ I think what he means is that out of anything new, the last thing the parks needs is a coaster. I have never been there but from what everyone is saying the park is in need of flats.

BUt...Being a frequent flyer means you PAY each time you fly. Being a season pass holder you pay ONCE for unlimited visits. Why would I, as a park owner, want to give a season pass holder that privilege when I would be loosing tons based on that. I personally am for the system especially when I have unlimited access like when staying on property at universal. If im forking over 300-400 a night whereas someone staying off site is paying 50-100 a night I deserve the privilege to skip the line and laugh at the ones waiting!

The more and more I look at these the more upset I get at what the parks have become!

How is this gonna work? Are they going to charge to enter or anyone can enter and have to purchase ride tickets or pay one price bands?

The time has come! The construction is complete and the coaster is ready for download. The end result is: Heighest point: 89.5 Top speed: 45+ Inversions: 6 (cobra roll, drunken loop, immelman, overbank turn, inline roll) Track lenth: 2,739.00 Trains: 5 This is a fun coaster that packs a "punch" and has a very unique layout that takes advantage of a ditch in the middle of the construction site. Here are some final progress shots and the track to download. I will do a video as soon as I can for all you people who dont have NL! a look back... hill.nltrack You ever wonder why I never showed the second "drop" well download the coaster and you will find your answer!
