  1. Matt, you might consider bringing a can of Raid also. There were quite a few flys in the place. I am planning on the last week of April for my next rip. That is when they tap the really good stuff.
  2. Definitely try to get to Munster, IN for a Three Floyds sampling. I went there a few weeks ago when I was in Chicago, I had the Gumball Head, and the Munsterfest seasonal. The brewpub is in an industrial park, but the beers were great. Pretty good burgers too.
  3. There aren't ceilings on the suites. Unless you plan on putting on a show for passersby (Singaporean flight attendants) , I would refrain from doing it. I would definitely not do it on a Singapore bound flight. God knows what the punishment would be!
  4. HSC was started in the Tampa Bay Area. Great report! I love studio tours. I'm not really a CNN viewer, but I took the CNN tour with my daughter and really enjoyed it.
  5. Beemer's shot of Spaceship Earth sans stupid magic wand. Truly a blessing! Finally a reality!
  6. Is it just me, but is the queue for Pyrenees the cleanest thing you've ever seen?
  7. Kings Island Bells - A bunch of us where having a bachelor party across the street and decided to sneek into the fairgrounds late at night after losing out inhibitions. Sorry I didn't do a TR on it.
  8. You would? Really? Easy on Shavethewhales. He just lost Bells this year. Closest thing for him is Frontier City. Yeech!
  9. You forgot to tell him to not show the same 10 people.
  10. Methos - The reason there is a giant cross next to the porn shop is because the complex was originally a Christian retreat. When they built the thing, I couldn't help but wonder who would want to go to a retreat in a hot steel building by the Interstate. The answer was nobody.
  11. I agree with you about Vortex being a coaster that hurts you. I think it stopped giving good rides about 9 years ago. When it was new, it was a great ride. Glad you liked Rumbler. It is my favorite GCI.
  12. Tonight is Great Lakes Brewing's Burning River. Very nice. I apologize for the lack of pictures.
  13. Organize a PA beer tour! A Heath and Derek road trip should be offered in addition to the coaster tours here on TPR. They look like a great educational way to spend a weekend. As for my favorite beer, I am partial to anything Bells now. However, Young's Double Chocolate Stout puts a smile on my face!
  14. I would post more, but my posts pale in comparison to your's and Heath's road trips. Not only that, I live in a dry county. That aside, I had a Sam Adams Boston Lager for dinner last night.
  15. I did exactly that (old WOC though) plus the zoo(BABY PANDAS!!!) and CNN tour with my family last month. Great times were had by all. If you do more than the Aquarium and WOC, get an Atlanta City Pass. And, if by chance you could throw in D'wood, don't forget Lake Winnie on the way.
  16. Again. Tonight I did another Anheuser Spring Brew. My wife bought them. They really aren't that bad. In the wine dept, I had a glass of Yellowtail from Australia with my chicken. Also, tasty!!
  17. http://www.nhk.or.jp/news/2007/05/06/k20070506000022.html I realize the page is in Japanese, but reading the article it said the wheel assembly failed. On the video, it shows a thrown wheel assembly. Also, park officials have a chalkboard drawing of the assembly. Just my $.02. Very sad indeed.
  18. Didn't Matt say something about a cold or something? Oh well. As for beer, I am drinking an Anhueser seasonal (Spring). A noticeable citrus, not blueberry aftertaste. A rather nice start to Derby weekend.
  19. How is 312? I have actually seen it for sale in gas stations around Lexington.
  20. It's too bad about your room situation in Koh Samui. It looked like you had to really rough it . Great report! Thank you for the great pictures to enjoy.
  21. Thank goodness for Louisville and Southwest. I avoid CVG like the plague!
  22. It was the escalator to the HR Puff N Stuff theme park back in the 70's. That is what the tour guide on the CNN Tour said.
  23. CNN Center in Atlanta has the longest freestanding escalator. Unfortunately, there is no way you'll get on it without tour tickets.
  24. What was wrong with Sheikra's second row? That is a shame.
