What day of the week did you go to Beech Bend? I could handle a day of continuous faux ERT on the Rumbler . I love that coaster. -
Looks like a great trip. Take pictures!!!!! Share them please. I say cancel Kennedy and go for Busch. Tell dad there's free beer.

I'm still trying to figure out the point of TV. TV is a total waste. Seriously, if a site isn't topic specific, I won't waste my time there. Also, does anybody spend time at digg.com? What's up with that? -

This site will give you everything you would want to know. www.mousesavers.com I realize you could go to the WDW site itself, but I feel it is a trap. They tend to steer you in ways you don't want to go. The site I am telling you about can really save you money. Like anything take the time to study it. It is worth it. Also, I like www.wdwinfo.com. It has some great pics of the parks and resorts. Enjoy! -
What is your favorite band?

Agreed! 100%. Try having kids that think all that crap is good. Sheesh! That, and vintage Pink Floyd, Steely Dan, and Doobie Brothers. -
I got to see a pin break on one in the early 70's. Lets just say it was the last ride for those two guys. I won't ride Zippers for that reason.

You guys must not have kids. That, or you all are beerlionaires. All I have is is AmberBock in my fridge. It is cold though. Goes great with a moonshine chaser too! -

My 50th Anniv Fender Strat. This guitar is 2 feet from me in my bedroom. Grab and go! -
Any idea where the trips are going to be? Midwest by chance? Also, should you win the Lotto, my wife and I have land that is just aching for rides to be installed on it .

If it is a franchise of a Chicago pizza chain in a metro area outside of Chicagoland, skip it and go to Pizza Hut. I don't care what chain it is, poeple outside of Chicagoland just don't understand Chicago pizza. The biggest offender in the Mc Chicago pizza world is definately Uno's. P.S. For sausage pizza, Malnati's crushes all contenders.

2 days in Holiday World area question
mr_teisco_delrey replied to CoasterGoblin's topic in Ask Alvey
If you are going for credits PKI is the way to go. No SoB though. If you haven't been on the Beast, by all means PKI is a must. The KY Rumbler at Beech Bend is a great coaster though. From Louisville PKI is about a 2 hour drive up I-71. The only caveat is that you will be in town Labor Day. PKI might be jammed. -

I would stay in Louisville and fan out from there. That way you don't have to check in and check out of places. Drive times to Beech Bend and HW are only about 90 mins or so. Louisville is Eastern time which means you don't have to get up too early to get to Beech Bend, or HW. -

The only thing worse that a vacation without rollercoasters is a bringing ones children on a rollercoaster trip. -
Free beer at BGT (if your over 21 that is). By the way, is that a credit?

I think i'll skip Camden on my way to PA for my ultimate PA trip. I'll use the 20 bucks for Kennywood. -

Rumbler was great!. My legs were too long for the Looping Star. Wild mouse wrenched my knees, but was great fun! I agree, T2 is a great Vekoma SLC!!!! Get to Beech Bend to experience the Rumbler!!!! Anything for a credit! Mr Jones, the park owner, soaking in the accolades! Being from South Kentucky I was happy to see a world class a ride come to my neck of the woods. A very happy Beech Bend PR person. My thanks to Beech Bend for a great day. Family run parks are great! First run of the day pulling into the station. High fives all around! I feel safe when a GCI person is riding their creation! The ribbon cutting. Great to see the RCCGB crew on hand!
