  4. "Blues Brothers" awesome! There are some unknown TPR member related factoids in that movie: 1. TPR member's 1st job was at the Shell station the brothers drive buy. 2. Blues Brothers pulled over by the cops in front of the house a TPR member grew up in. 3. Courtland Avenue was the street a TPR member grew up on. 6. Grunting Coaster? Would't most Vekoma SLCs qualify as a grunting coaster? Not only that you get on most SLCs and get the crap knocked out of your head.

  8. They might have been secretly looking for a park worse that Fantazyland!
  9. Thank you for saying that. Most folks probably don't have the slightest idea of Steve Irwin's skill set. He might have looked half crazy doing what he was doing , but he knew what he was doing, and in his mind he was definately on guard. Now if it was myself out there playing with snakes and crocs, my number would be up to be drawn.
  10. Was that a sitar? For a second there I thought you might have been hijacked to India.
  11. Are the termites getting ready to feed on the Starliner?
  12. Elissa, I noticed your Cypress Graden "No Credits" remark. Are they in trouble again? I thought they had a new water park that was helping them out.
  13. Here are my Labor Day selections. Happy Labor Day!!!! This was an odd selection. The Sybil Dorset of Ales. Is it Ale or is it bourbon? You decide. Good ale, but the bourbon aftertaste was a bit odd. I was hoping for summer weather to enjoy this in. 60 degrees was kinda of a surprise. Great beer though!
  14. At least DL is getting their subs back. Sure beats a playground. I do agree with you about the peoplemovers though. Peoplemovers seem to be quinessential Tommorowland.
  15. As myself, I will be cleaning gutters, spraying weeds with Roundup, and working on my home's foundation. I'll be sure to take pictures though.
  16. TexTitan - Have you been on Roar at SFA in DC? If yes,is that still a pretty smooth ride? How about Lightning Racer and Wildcat at Hershey? I know I am getting off topic. I'll stop now.
  17. ^Would those be the same "boys" that took a second crack at Coaster Express? They never learn. Kinda like the time I did SOB two times in a row in 2004. I am still recovering.
  18. Great Thunderbird pics. I know T-Birds larger, but how did it compare to KY Rumbler?
  19. I'm guessing ERT would take on a different meaning, right?
  20. It had a bit of stutter. I am on DSL. By the way, did you count the human operated coaster as a credit?
  21. For that matter, how about enema bottles?
  22. Here is the inverted slide. The manufacturer site: http://www.wiegandslide.com/wiegand-home.html Darn it's cold. Coaster in the snow. Flying baby!
  23. I think I enjoyed trips to White Castle more than I did trips to Satan's Village. I would say that SV was more the Stuckey's of amusement parks.
  24. Let me find the link. A buddy at work showed it to me.
  25. Yes! I've seen on the website that there is also an inverted version. Looked pretty cool.
