The "Preview" Thread
A.J. replied to DBru's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
I think it looks great - but extremely, EXTREMELY un-realistic. -
Legoland Florida Discussion Thread
A.J. replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Honestly, I think it's neat. I know it says how figures washed up in England and Holland, but what about California and Windsor? If this sort of thing happened when those Legoland parks opened, I wouldn't consider it a coincidence. -
The TPR Games Forum Moderators Random Thread
A.J. replied to robbalvey's topic in Games Forum Moderators
Possibly. You could cross-reference posts between the two to get a better idea. On the other hand, I have three or four buddies here at Penn State who go onto Theme Park Review using the same IP address as me (Penn State's private wireless network). -
Honestly, I really like the way BMW is going with the new 5-series and 3-series. I'm a big fan of automobile design that just flows and curves subtly all over. I like the new Infiniti M, EX, and FX and the face lifted G for this reason.

In our forum or the others? I know technically we have the power to moderate in the other four forums, but we're not supposed to... -
I'm more concerned about what Android's next version is going to be named. What desserts start with the letter J? Jelly?

The "Preview" Thread
A.J. replied to DBru's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
You should definitely try coloring the tips of the supports connecting to the track yellow. They'll look more realistic (like actual track nodes) and the glitches won't be as apparent... -
Knoebels Discussion Thread

I didn't see the spider swing thingy at Phall Phunfest, but I did see the Monkey Maze. I hate those things. -

No problem. The whole Corkscrew Coaster CTR thing is taken care of as well. Technically, she can post her link if one of us approves it first, and I approved it. I just told her to make sure she asks next time, since she still has a below 50 post count. -
Flat Ride Design (with video)
A.J. replied to nannerdw's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Looks like they move under the ground - they aren't flush with the ground level. -
Maylene's Classic Corkscrew

Looks fantastic. I'd love to see the actual Tilt Coaster cars sometime. -

Who? Edge of Beast? Or this [censored]head? Doesn't seem like it was supposed to be temporary - you made such a big deal out of it. This thread is bordering on "bad quality". Step up your presentation (and your grammar...), or I will be forced to lock the thread. You need to seriously take some time and think, "would I be proud of how this park looked if I actually owned it?". EDIT: Don't reply to the thread saying, "I'm sorry" or "I will". Just take care of it. Please. Locking a thread because it's not up to your personal standard? Geeze, that's a bit pretentious. I think the park looks fine, better than alot of other parks I've seen in fact. It's really imaginative. The only suggestion I have is to add some landscape. Bushes on the boarders of your paths can do wonders. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=60544&start=20 The public seems to have a love-hate relationship with us. -
Hersheypark (HP) Discussion Thread
A.J. replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This is probably a stupid question, but have there been any days recently where Hersheypark has had to use Lightning Racer's overflow queue? -

It's interesting that you like the inverted wild mouse. All I've read about it is that it's a terrible ride. -

I think it's hilarious because she got what was coming to her. I would never spend $15,000 at WDW...I can get away with $200 for a whole week...seriously ($1000 if I wasn't a CM). -
The "Brainstorm" Thread
A.J. replied to A.J.'s topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Coupon, I'd say you should drop Six Flags, as it would give you more creative freedom. Bottom_Feeder, it all depends on what game you're using. If you're using RCT, I'd say go for it, but if you try to make it in NoLimits you may have a problem. -
Hey all, I'd thought I'd start a new "The _________ Thread". The premise is simple - are you thinking about making something in RCT or NoLimits, but aren't sure how you think you'll do it or if the idea is good or bad? Post about it! I'll start. I'm thinking of making a Schwarzkopf-style coaster. It won't be a direct copy, but it will be similar in that it uses a tire-propelled lift, has very strong positive Gs, and has as much track crammed into a space as possible. I'm probably going to base it off of Alpina Bahn. Thoughts?
