Someone has to say it... ...did the Wall Street Journal get their information from the Dippin' Dots guy? -

If anything, I think bright, bold color schemes are cool. Like this for example - my Lakeshore Boardwalk park (which I forgot to export, so I'm in the process of finding all its objects using ParkDat). Since your water park is obviously un-themed, and therefore doesn't have to feel like it blends in or is hidden, bright colors are okay. You want your guests be attracted to the bright green tube over there and say, "what is that?". -
The button is the "recirculate" button. It cuts off flow of outside air into the car and instead recirculates the air within the car. Warm air gets warmer, cool air gets cooler. That's how to get maximum performance out of your heater/AC.

I wouldn't be able to put that kind of park together so fast unless I did the entire thing in one 6+ hour sitting. Almere = NERD!!!!!! -

Still running Snow Leopard...tsk tsk. I like it. It reminds me of Daemonen at Tivoli, only because it's tiny. -

Now, now, I cause enough bodily harm to myself already. -
That sounds like a good idea, as the problem seems to only be affecting certain files.

Mac OS 10.7.2, Safari 5.1.1, with no problems whatsoever. I just downloaded some of the oldest NoLimits tracks we have, and they opened up fine. I'll run some downloads through Internet Explorer 9 tomorrow.

IT'S NOT AN INTIMIDATOR 305 CLONE. I'm going to figuratively punch myself in the groin every time someone compares Skyrush to Intimidator 305. Two completely different beasts. -
I know! I have a running gag now!

Second suggestion - simply copy/paste the SC6 file into your scenarios folder. C: -> Program Files (x86 if you have Vista or 7) -> Infogrames Interactive (Atari if you have Triple Thrill Pack) -> RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 -> Scenarios. Also, make sure the file you want to open is a .SC6 file. RCT2 scenarios have the same icon as RCT1 scenarios, but RCT1 scenarios have the extension .SC4. -
Hello there Title Fairy, nice to see you again. I don't have Spanish Tourists anymore...but I do have this strange urgency to count Wing Coasters as TWO credits...are you willing to work with that? EDIT: Close enough! Thanks!

Virginia Reel anyone? I've found some inspiration and I'm thinking about making my next Inventor project a re-imagined Reel. -

Saved games will open if you just double-click on them. Double-clicking a scenario will install it to your game. -

There is some pumpy-ness going on here and there, but other than that, your layout is like nothing else I've ever seen. A 165-foot tall Euro-fighter...oh the humanity! -
If the mid-course brake before the lift didn't exist and it was just a turn straight into the lift, the cars would most certainly swing going up a portion of it. You're right that they would eventually stop, but with no barrier the swinging cars are at the mercy of gravity. If you have more weight on one side of the car than the other, it's going to bank, and the barrier wouldn't be able to go up because the car wouldn't be exactly centered.

One thing's for sure - staged or otherwise, I think what they did with Mickey for the premiere of World of Color was really neat. -
One problem though - in order to get up the lift, the trains had to be centered on the swing (so the trains wouldn't swing around if they had to be evacuated from a lift). If you were swinging around while moving at high speed, it would have been extremely uncomfortable (painful even) to experience a sudden jolt where the rod on the bottom hits the barrier to center the trains.

It's really still an adjustment for everyone, having a moderation team for the games forum - when I joined TPR in 2006, I believe Matt was the only moderator for this forum (other than Robb and Elissa, of course), and it's been like that all the way up to...five months ago?

Does it even actually go under the water though? I know it at least goes below water level. It seems like Anaconda is one of those coasters that has a great layout on paper, but with not-so-good execution.
