  1. Remember that no matter what chain they're in, parks are still individuals.
  2. Anyone up for a "TPR Game Exchange" front page post?
  3. Zelda Skyward Sword is out. Goodbye, Thanksgiving break.
  4. IMO, the Stop Anti-Piracy/Protect IP acts are like me doing this - They're pointless and will do more harm than good.
  5. Hey all, Recently we've been getting a bunch of threads, especially for NoLimits projects, that showcase a completed project but do not include a link to a working download. Please remember to ALWAYS include a download when you post a completed project! YouTube videos only do so much! It would be even nicer if you included a link to, oh, I don't know, in THE GAME EXCHANGE THAT'S ONLY A CLICK AWAY?!? I notice some of you in particular did inevitably link to the exchange, and for that, thanks! But, please, everyone remember to ALWAYS INCLUDE A DOWNLOAD!
  6. I really don't think it will be complete by Christmas. It's better to get a job done right and take longer than expected than to rush a job and have a bumpy opening.
  7. I bet a quick run with the reach envelope will change that terrain a little bit, but it will still be properly scary to be screaming along that close to it. EDIT - it may be that my perspective is off a bit, I'm talking more about the right side of the track/terrain (left in the photo).
  8. Google search is a wonderful thing, isn't it? ISN'T IT?!? http://www.sycode.com/products/3ds_export_su/
  9. That would be awesome, but I think the Kirnu-sized ZacSpin is too tall to fit inside the building. Avatar Airbender nearly touches the roof, and it's only seventy feet tall (Kirnu is 80-something).
  10. Nailed it. The Construction Kit was created before NoLimits 1.6 came out, I believe, so that was before improved friction.
  11. I can confirm that... This one-of-who-knows-how-many Great Coasters International branded canvas bag is perfect for keeping your private collection of IAAPA Funworld magazines in! It's also a great way to show all your friends and family how much of a roller coaster geek you really are! Hand-made by someone I don't know, carefully taken care of by someone I do know, and possibly farted on by someone who reveals certain redheads' secret identities, this bag is the bees knees. BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE! This super-fantastical bag also can function as a man purse! Just take the bag, slide it through your arm, rest the handles on our shoulder, and, SHAZAM! You will instantly lose several man cards, but you will be able to carry all those Funworld magazines and/or Theme Park Review branded merchandise with ease! This bag and more can be YOURS...in your very own BAG OF CRAP! How was that?
  12. There WERE free Dippin' Dots samples being given out though! Banana Split is my favorite!
  13. Looks great, especially being your first coaster using 3DS. My only gripe? Don't change the time scale during the on-ride video!
  14. I'll ask you what I ask everyone else - How would you feel if you were riding your coaster for real?
  15. I have to agree with you there, Zierer is definitely taking off. IMO, they've always been doing well with the Tivolis and Forces (the Schwarzkopfs too, but they were built a while ago). I think Bowcraft's Crossbow and Lagoon's Wicked really set them off, and they haven't stopped climbing since. I seriously can't wait to see what they have in store for the coming years.
  16. Let me be the first to admit that this advertisement...messed with me a little bit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpi2IAec9Ho
  17. The seats are quite comfortable, but I don't think I'd mount them that high if I put them in a living room. I have really long legs and my feet still didn't touch the floor of the train!
  18. I hope that Fastpass thing turns out to be false. As far as I know, Fastpass has always been equally accessible to all guests regardless of whether or not they're staying at a resort. I hope it stays that way...
  19. Bad-ger, bad-ger, bad-ger... ARGH! A SNAAAAAAAKE! Coming soon from AJ.
  20. Oh. Dear. I only compared the two because they had the same train lengths... Why the [censored] is there an empty train with restraints open for the entire video? GET PEOPLE MOVING.
  21. Pee-shaw, I've already ridden this coaster at IAAPA. It's pretty boring. All it does is sit in one place, forcing its riders to stare at a giant pink waterslide tube. The seats are incredibly comfortable though.
  22. Has anyone been to Bayern Park lately? Freischutz looks like it has about the same duration as Superman Ultimate Flight, and it only runs one twelve-seater train (right?). That could be a good gauge of how long queue lines will be for SUF.
  23. Yes, I can confirm that CrazyParkManager did talk to me briefly at IAAPA about some crazy coaster idea - then proceeded to immediately get a free sample of Dippin' Dots in fear of them declaring bankruptcy. I didn't see him any time after that.
  24. Fine. I will settle for inadequacy once again. Maybe I'll fart in it myself and feel a little better. The Wing Coaster shrine was getting a little lonely, anyway...
