  1. Great update like always, Chuck. I'll be heading down there in June and possibly in October, and hopefully I can finally get a ride on Mach Tower.
  2. Agreed. I really wanna see this ride in person. Eh maybe next year...
  3. Awesome job as always. Can't wait to see the final project!
  4. "The Feel Good Drag"-Anberlin
  5. I have the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze and at two IPod's over five years old. In fact, one of them is the original IPod video which is about eight or nine years old. The only thing up to date is the flat screen in my room.
  6. My all time favorite franchises: Halloween Friday the 13th Scary Movie (Excluding the awful 5th installment) Harold and Kumar (Haven't seen the last one yet) Cheech and Chong Fast and the Furious Jackass Rush Hour National Lampoon's
  7. "Be Quiet And Drive (Far Away)"-Deftones
  8. KD added some new photos to their album. Looks like the running lights are being brought back on Rebel Yell!
  9. El Condor and T2's first drop isn't as steep as the current SLCs as well.
  10. For me: -i305's first turn. -Kumba's Zero-G. -Montu's batwing, notably in the back seat. -Hulk's launch. -Both of Volcano's launches.
  11. "The Warmth"-Incubus
  12. iSpeed has that issue too? I think Intamin made some improvement on the OTSR's after Maverick. Does i305 need this kind of brace as well? It did during the first couple months, then they changed them to the soft padded OTSR.
  13. If anyone for some reason feels the need to ride Anaconda at Kings Dominion, I suggest riding in the last car, front row. Not as much headbanging but you're still gonna have to brace yourself for the stupid transition in the butterfly element.
  14. Yeah Gotham isn't the best area in the park, it has the least amount of shade, and looks dull. My biggest problem are the employees. They're too lazy to clean (The Johnny Rocket's was atrocious), and slow as hell when it comes to operations. Other than that I've always appreciated the park for it's coaster line up and atmosphere, especially Coyote Creek and the Entrance. I really miss the park during it's Adventure World days.
  15. Absolutely. You only need 30 minutes to an hour for working out. In fact I remember seeing one of those motivational posters at my doctor's office saying how there are many people busier than you and I combined and how it takes an hour a day to keep in shape etc, somewhere along those lines. You really only need to work out 3-4 days a week, especially if you're just starting. When it comes to working out I feel like the one of the most important things to keep in mind is patience. I started weightlifting about three and a half months ago, for the most part I still look the same (at least that's what it seems to me). But yesterday someone actually mentioned how my shoulders were a lot bulkier, which I was more than happy to hear. All I've been doing is simple compound exercise (Benchpress, squats, deadlifts etc). It's also good to change up your workout routine after a month or so. Just keep a good diet, maintain your strength and keep an open mind, and you should be getting the results you want.
  16. Count me in on this. I love airtime but a forceful ride is always a plus for me.
  17. Back in the day, my parents had a LOT of VHS tapes and one of them happened to be America's Greatest Roller Coaster Thrills in 3D and I used to watch that tape all the time. Over the years as my obsession of roller coasters was growing, my parents started recording any T.V show amusement park related. Then when we finally got a computer, I discovered some roller coaster sites such as Coastergallery and RCDB and that's where my interest really sparked. Over the years of visiting Adventure World (Now Six Flags America), and Kings Dominion, I started actually riding bigger roller coasters as I got older and here I am today.
  18. Dragon Challenge (Fireball). One of my favorite moments on any ride is the turn after the second Immelmann. I just hope to go back soon and visit the park again. It was so busy the last time I went and didn't get to do much rides as I was hoping too.
  19. "Who Am I?"-I See Stars
  20. This! The drop pretty much floods the first row and it's the only part of the ride that actually got me soaked.
  21. Just as long as they're in the designated areas, I'm fine. I used to smoke for three years (It's been a little over a year since I quit and I don't plan on staring up again) but even now second hand smoke irritates me like crazy. Can't stand the smell anymore, and it's worse when it gets on my clothes. Sad part is, I'm, exposed to it all the time since every single one of my friends smoke cigarettes, and some of them have to smoke every 15 minutes. Fortunately last time I went to BGW I brought a friend who was considerate enough to leave his cigarettes in my car. As for E-Cigs, they don't bother me at all. In fact the E-Cig helped me quit cold turkey. I will say I wasn't a big fan of the E-Cig companies promoting them that you can smoke them anywhere and I definitely can understand parks wanting their guest to take them to designated areas as well.
  22. Haha, that's exactly what I was thinking. Now I wonder how many people are going to assume there is (or was) a roller coaster around the real Statue of Liberty.
  23. I can also say the same for Montu. Backseat on both rides are flawless and they will not disappoint.
