  7. I must be the only one who likes the color scheme.
  8. I'll be at Christmas Town the 6th and possibly 7th of December so hopefully I can get an update on the new coaster. Speaking of Christmas Town, it'll be my first time back since their first year (2009), anything that I must check out while I'm there?
  9. ^I was thinking something like that, well except for Apocalypse being burnt down since it's "new". However it would be awesome to see Roar get an Iron Horse treatment as they could use the advantage to make a path connecting to Gotham. If it ever happens that is....
  10. I'm pretty sure SFA is/was haunted. IIRC the land it currently sits on used to be owned by a family who had a daughter that passed away and the house and possibly grave site still sit there behind Wild One's helix. Kings Island is another park I hear is notorious for hauntings. I found this thread a while ago which has some interesting stories.
  11. Wild One-It's still one of the best wooden coasters I've been on and in fact one of my favorites. I'd rather see it's neighbor Roar get the Iron Horse treatment(and I'm sure many of us on the east coast would love to have an RMC near by). Rebel Yell-Another classic that should always stay the same. I agree with LR. Honestly, I didn't find it as smooth or a good as most people here do but I still think it's just fine and there would be no need to touch it. I'm going to jump on the LR bandwagon as well. Such an awesome ride, but I can imagine if RMC did give it the Iron Horse treatment, it would be one amazing of a ride.
  12. Great video. I've always thought it would be cool to work on rides, especially off season since that's when rides get the most maintenance work.
  13. 1)Streaming 2)Netflix 3)I rarely buy DVD's so maybe once a year if that... 4)No 5)I do enjoy Youtube and use it a lot, daily actually.
  14. Pleasant: Fairenheight-It wasn't a ride I was all pumped about riding at Hersheypark before my trip. When I rode it, I found it a lot more enjoyable than I thought, great transitions and that pop of airtime near the end was a amazing. Dominator-Even on a slow windy day when the train barely makes it through the loop, it's still delivers one of the best rides in the park. The first drop in the back row still gets me every time, no matter how many times I prepare for it. Anaconda- The last time I rode this on KD's last day of the season it was one of the smoothest rides I've had on it, it was almost hard to believe. No head banging, even on the god awful butterfly transition. Unpleasant: SooperDooperLooper-What would've been a decent roller coaster was killed by the trims. Great layout and takes good advantage of the terrain around it but those trims really kills the pacing of the ride.
  15. The GP sure is on a roll with Youtube.... Comment made by "Coaster Master" Is the video not enough to show it's a sit-down???
  16. If Apocalypse wasn't so close to Roar I could see a path placed in between where the gates are as seen here. It's enough for maintenance vehicles to get through, but I doubt it's big enough for a decent sized path but who knows, maybe it is? ^Edit:Beat me to it.
  17. Something very similar happened to me at BGW earlier this year. Just before we went on the Le Scoot (log flume), I put my car key in my pocket that had a zipper. After that we rode Griffon then headed over to Apollo's Chariot where I then noticed in line that the zipper to the pocket was open and the key was long gone. Thankfully my parents were near the resort we stayed at and had a spare so they dropped it off. The next day when we went back to the park, we decided to go to lost and found just in case and amazingly they had it!
  18. ^It sure does. Haven't stayed since I'm with in good driving distance but from what I hear, it's nice.
  19. ^Granted I haven't been on the Renegade Rapids in years, but I still remember it being one of the better rapids ride. Out of all of the ones I've been on, White Water Canyon is my favorite by far. Roman Rapids at BGW is very disappointing, even thought the waterfall was off when I last went on it. Still it's one of the shortest and most boring ones I've been on. Removing Renegade Rapids would be a bad move imo as it would leave PBR and Shipwreck Falls as the only water rides in the park.
  20. Manta at SWO has a very mellow soundtrack right before the loading platform. It mixes well with queue setting which really sets the tone.
  21. Manta at Sea World Orlando is easily the best queue I've been in. The fact that it's pretty much an aquarium just makes the waiting more entertaining. Then the part where it meets the stairs to the trains is filled with the deep blue lighting combined with very mellow music which gives a very soothing vibe. Almost any ride at IoA has a nicely themed queue. And while I haven't been on in, Black Mamba's queue looks great as well. I just love how it intervenes with the ride it's self.
  22. ^It sure as hell is a lot better than Penguin's Blizzard River because that has to be one of the worst excuses for a water ride ever. Now that's one ride I consider boring, pointless and barely gets you wet at all. That is exactly what I told them. They have lots of land back there and if they built to the left of where the exit of Batwing is they could eventually attach a pathway from there to where the river rapids is. In my honest opinion if they want to get rid of a "major" ride I would take out the river rapids ride or at least improve it. It is one of the worst I have ever rode. A path from Gotham to Coyote Creek would be great, however I can't see it being built unless they remove Mind Eraser or the rapids ride as there is barely any room for a decent sized path to go there.
  23. That's very true. Especially the episodes that were just based on Woodbury and Andrea & Michonne, no desire to watch those again.
  24. My exact thoughts. Terminus seemed like a bigger threat than Woodbury, so I would've thought Terminus would be in the season for much longer. Guess the writers have something else bigger planned later on this season.
