  1. Wet'n'Wild definitely does not interest me in the slightest. It has been getting a lot of bad press lately. Won't be visiting anytime soon unless they add a creit
  2. I did post that I had received mine but as I was away with family didn't get a chance to put up a picture so here it is. Thanks again I loved it.
  3. Just picked up my parcel from the post office. It was very jet jagged after making the trip form Holland It's under the tree and will be opened on Xmas day with pics. Thank you secret Santa - I may find out who you are when I open it
  4. Yeah I saw that. Pretty clever. Someone could totally be buschy garden!
  5. I completely agree. I'm originally from Dublin. It is nearly the same latitude as Alton towers so i don't see why we don't have one. If weather is the problem then an indoor one would do just like the adventure dome! One was proposed a few years back but never got planning permission. Now living in Sydney i also feel that Sydney could do with one. While luna park is cute its old and cant really expand. With nearly 10 million visitors a year it does have the foot traffic for a good themed park. I have to say that the ones on the gold coast feel more like amusement parks.
  6. Worst for me was 3 hours for X. It was my first and only time in California, I had to wait. Have had many a walk-on's for the Hulk and Dueling Dragons.
  7. It definitely looks faster than Matterhorn and with bigger drops but I can't be sure. Only rode the Matterhorn once
  8. I've posted mine yesterday. It's gotta travel half way around the world!
  9. It's kind of bizarre but totally cool. I love the little burst of speed before the end. The guy in front was funny with his oh I suppose I better put my safety restraint on!
  10. Looks sweet. I love that it has the top hat, other elements and inversions and is not just a launch coaster with a top hat like Stealth.
  11. Wow Nitro really goes fast around the track. To me it kind of looks like a mini Dragon Khan.
  12. It looks like it goes through the loop pretty fast but boy does it look like a !
  13. I try keep it very minimal. Credit card, SPF lip balm, money(notes) and small digital camera in the camera case(with spare batteries and memory cards). This all goes in a small digital camera case and then this goes in a zip lock bag so I can do the water rides and not worry. Park map also goes into the zip lock bag.
  14. I can wait to watch this unfold. Cant believe people are being negative about this. As of now its a new one of a kind coaster. We as enthusiasts should be happy with progress still happening on new and unique rides. I'm all for it. Hopefully it'll be finished and close to Orlando for my trip late 2015
  15. Just started today with android and seems OK so far.
  16. So it seems that they have brought out a silver season pass for $99.99. Said limited amount available though. I'm not going to bother. Water parks were never my thing.
  17. I'm sorry I have to completely disagree with that article. For the last 100 years coasters have been changing and evolving. I really don't think we are done. As long as someone out there has an imagination or can dream I really don't think we have seen the peak yet. Also with China, Russia and India becoming major players in theme parks now I say watch this space for one of them opening the next revolutionary design.
  18. Ratatouille is looking and sounding amazing. I love the illusion of mayhem that the ride will create by being trackless. I think the not knowing where the car is going sensation and also the alternate routes will make it really fun with lots of laughter. I've been going to Disneyland Paris since 2002 and its great to see it go from strength to strength.
  19. Wow the elephant looks awesome! As for the coaster, after riding Colossus in Thorpe Park I kind of see these coasters as gimmicks just to pack the inversions in. The 4 in a row heartline twists are not very thrilling for me and get a bit painful by the last one.
  20. As said before, this ride is designed for the launch. It makes more sense when you consider that this is not at an amusement park and is just an attraction for the racetrack. The coaster is interesting but the real draw to the Nurburgring is the racing, although the German Grand Prix will be held at the Hockenheimring this year as it alternates yearly between these two tracks. This is just an attraction and is not intended to be the main focus of the complex. If the US Grand Prix track had a coaster I probably wouldn't bother riding it this month while I'm there for the F1 race. I agree. I think people should not look at this as a traditional roller coaster and more of a simulator that happens to look like a coaster. as far as I knwe it was built to let the average person experience the power of a Formula One car accelerate.
  21. Wow that looks awesome. Definitely lots of potential in that. Best idea ever! I want this ride to be built now. So cool.
  22. I have a year pass for the Sydney park and it does not transfer to the Melbourne Park. As of 2007 http://www.smh.com.au/news/national/luna-park-bosses-guilty-of-contempt/2007/08/17/1186857771544.html
  23. Just came across this article. Interesting. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/10/31/venice-theme-park_n_4182258.html
  24. Yes I am in again this year. Was definitely fun last year. I love anything random but if the person is stuck I like anything Harry Potter or Sci Fi or Theme Park orientated.
