Hell even if they brought back the old rollercoasters (rcdb.com/4935.htm), its still better than the the fact that there is only the one in Luna Park now in Sydney. Just as long as the park works and is financially viable and doesn't need to be sold off soon after opening!

According to the news article a new backer could reopen Sydeny's theme park Wonderland on a new site. Very interesting. Some shots I got when flying from Orlando MCO. Flying back to Dublin after my holidays. The Pilot pointed out the parks to everybody on the plane via the intercom. I think this is great news for Oakwood. I was there shortly after they opened Speed and I really enjoyed the park (for a small park) I hope the little investment brings them more profits and they continue to grow. Its always great to hear of little parks expanding not just the giants in these hard times.

Go drop ride. After riding The Giant Drop, Dreamworld last week (377ft)I am all for bigger drop towers. Being a veteran theme park junkie I have to say I didn't think there was many things out there that would still have me afraid to go on but this certainly did.

I suppose it makes sense as it is the main park and it gets more visits from people making one day visits to Disney over "holiday makers". Also with the new expansion and the fact that it has so many rides over the other parks I can understand it. With the Aussie $ being so strong right now for me it still seems cheap (I know for most americans its not though)

I use the Manly Flyer every day to get to and from work! So many jokes to be had.

Hey guys I am heading to the Gold Coast for the first time and want to visit Movie World and am just wondering about queue times this time of year. I know nothing about the season in the Gold Coast but know that the kids are not off school so it should be OK. Any help would be great. Also is anyone familiar with the deal they have on right now for the Superpass?

I have to say guys I disagree. I've been to Paris and Disneyland Paris several times in different times throughout the year and I've always found both city and Parks to be very clean. Including no doggy dou.

I really like both but I do prefer Theme Parks. I enjoy going to Amusement parks as they tend to have big and or fast rides but I do find these parks a little soulless and on certain days the other park guests can be less than civilized. Where as on the other hand when going to a Theme Park I love the total immersion in another world and the escape from the normal. It's like a real adventure and thats what I like on a holiday.

I love Disney and all the little details they put in their queues especially while queuing for BTMR so an addition to these queues is a good thing in my opinion. On my last visit I only saw the upgrades to Winnie the Pooh and Space Mountain and thought they were brilliant. Bring on the next upgrades Disney.

Scariest one I've ever been on is in Luna Park Sydney. While you queue it goes over head on a turn and you can see the wheels come off the rail. Image via RCDB Scary stuff but a great view of the bridge and opear house while on a roller coaster.

Vidampark in Budapest was definitley one of the worst I've been to. It was in a big state of disrepair but and as it had a lot of old rides it made it look worse. I paid in but only went on the two rollercoasters as I feared for my safety on the rest! Look at the American flag in the background, sorry guys. One of the oldest roller coasters in the world. I have a sinking feeling about this ride! MM safety hazard anyone? Uh she's old!

I sent mine on the 9th of Dec and my SS hasnt received theirs. Am getting very worried.

Hhmm yeah I cant say that I am very excited about this. Disneyland has finally gotten its act together and be going in a very positive direction for the last 10 years. I think this project could end up being a big flop.
