my favorite seat on El Toro is one row from the back (so the middle of the back car), normally with any 3 bench PTC coaster like Phoenix I would say to sit in the middle of any car and avoid wheel seats but this doesn't apply to Phoenix. It's incredible in every single seat on the train. Personally I like the front seat of the back car but every seat is great.

You'll get a ton of rides in. Last year we were there for Maverick ERT one night, it lasts an hour and starts as soon as the line runs out. At the start of ERT you might wait 15 minutes or so but if you stick it out to the end you might be able to stay on the train and re-ride a few times. It really fizzles out.

Headed to Millennium Force huh? Hats off to you, you have your priorities straight. Yes, the Marina entrance opens right at 9 for Early Entry.

The Sandusky Milan Motel 6 and Super 8 are both pretty good. Both are above average for their respective chains and both are very clean. Stay at Breakers express if you don't have a platinum pass though as Early Entry is amazing.

This. This park desperately (and I mean desperately) needs a log flume but there's no way that'll happen. I would bet anything that this is a water park expansion, and to be fair their water park is pretty weak so it's a good move.

Just confirming you tried 732-928-2000 x2838? That's Guest Relations. Yup, and no luck with the dial 0 trick. My issue is with the cart, It can't find the VIP tour even when clicking the direct link. Do I need to be on a PC? There's a mobile cart but maybe it just sucks. Lol

Six Flags is horrendous at customer service... It's almost funny how bad they are. Out of curiosity does anyone have any phone number or extension for anyone at any park in the entire chain or the corporate office where somebody might actually be willing to assist someone who's been trying for 2 hours to figure out how to give them almost $400? I'm trying to get a VIP Safari tour for my girlfriend for her birthday and I can't do it. The checkout link on the website doesn't work and the phone number is jut a recording that says to go on the website that doesn't work. I've used the get a human app, dialed every park in the chain and the corporate office hoping maybe they could transfer me and haven't managed to speak to a human... I said I wanted to bring a group of over 100 people when prompted hoping they could transfer me and they didn't even answer and actually the phone just hung up... I give up! Anyone have a number that works? This is ridiculous. And it's between 9 and 5 on a weekday lol.

Long straightaways aren't a bad thing. Bizarro at Sfne has one too. Millennium Force's finale is perfectly placed because it really gets people in the queue amped up for the ride. It's all very close to the people waiting in line and the trains blow by them with amazing speed. I love it.

It looks like everyone's favorite level 4 thrill ride, Iron Dragon has re-opened.

^ I agree that you shouldn't ride Raptor or Gatekeeper in the morning once the park opens but it's worth pointing out that they're awesome Early Entry rides (especially Raptor). A far as riding Dragster Early this is good advice but remember that it's not open for Early Entry. Even with Fastlane though this is really a 2 day park.

They don't own the mayfly. The mayfly owns them.

I don't get it either, if you're at Cedar Point and craving some forces near the front of the park, there's a big green intensity machine or an Intamin impulse with your name on it. If you're in the back of the park, Maverick's right there for you... in the middle of the park go ride Dragster or Magnum. Cedar Point isn't lacking in the "force" department.

I love Cedar Point's maintenance team. With the exception of opening weekend every single year for some reason they're ridiculously efficient.

Great report, thanks for sharing. I find Apollo fun but middle-of-the road in every single seat except the very back. In that seat it's one of my favorite hypers because thanks to the pre-drop the airtime on the first drop is more Intamin-like than B&M like.

Don't even budget for one. Buy yourself something nice with that money, lol. Unless you're going to the waterpark or planning on riding the Screaming Swing 800 times Fastlane will always be a waste of money at Dorney. Good call, Early Entry at Cedar Point is amazing. Even with Fastlane the Early Entry lines will be the shortest lines you'll encounter all day. DON'T MISS OUT ON EARLY ENTRY!
