Every time I see a thread about an East Coast trip I always pop in to make sure you're either going to Knoebels already, or if not everyone already told you that you should alter your plan and go to Knoebels. Luckily everyone here already corrected the problem so I'll go ahead and leave now. Great advice everyone! lol

I305 is a top 10 ride for me. Those lateral transitions are awesome and the only other coaster I've ever ridden that has transitions like that is Maverick. Personally, I actually think Mavericks transitions are quicker and more intense, but I305's are still awesome and besides Maverick, nothing I've ridden comes close to doing what I305 does. I prefer Millennium Force and Fury 325 to I305 but like I said, I305 is a still a top 10 ride for me and it blows the other gigas away in the intensity department.

Impulse at Knoebels... loved it.

Great pictures, I'm a huge fan of Kings Dominion. It's a much prettier park than people give it credit for and they have an excellent collection of rides.

Personally I think you have to ride the Beast in the front at night... it's beyond amazing.

You have to learn to embrace the mayfly. It's just a part of Lake Erie life. lol Seriously though they don't really bother you on the midway too much, you notice them more on rides once the sun starts to go down. This is even more of an issue with rides that are well lit (like Gatekeeper) as it basically feels like riding a coaster in the rain.

Why would anyone want them to remove Saw Mill Plunge?

I love Banshee but I disagree with the notion that it's as intense or smoother than the older models. It can't compare to something like Afterburn, Montu or Batman and those rides are all butter smooth also. I'd still love to see an invert though as I do enjoy Banshee quite a bit.
