Holiday in the Park is more than worth coasters running one train at the start of the season so I refuse to complain. Also no, a 3 hour line would not be a 20 minute line with 2 trains instead of one. If they never stacked it would at most double the capacity, not magically give the ride 9 times the capacity it had with one (unless of course Flash Pass is being horribly mismanaged).

Nice report! It had a great ratio of Skyway and Summer Shandy photos so I approve.

I always wanted to stay at a Dollywood Cabin until I figured out this existed. Stay there instead. Drink up. Lol

Glad they got El Toro open today. I felt really bad for everyone who headed out when I heard they valleyed it. It sort of reminded me of my opening weekend experience last year where Nitro stalled, Toro valleyed and Ka and Zumanjaro also never opened due to wind. We still had fun because (as usual) someone hit the Beast Mode button on Batman that day but it was a real bummer. So how was Row 1? Lol

This is so random but since we're b*tching... How come the Boardwalk Fries stand doesn't have the same sh*t-ton of seasonings that Kings Island and Kings Dominion have available? When we went to Kings Dominion last weekend I was like a kid in a candy store. You get nothing at Cedar Point, it's crap. They had a cajun seasoning, a garlic seasoning, Old Bay, vinegar... it was nuts. Get it together Cedar Point. Wow I sound like an enthusiast now, lol.

Just wanted to say that based on the opening day reports I'm really proud of this park. Just to recap, they painted the Skyway cars that desperately needed it, they fixed the fan theming in the Batman queue which hasn't worked in years, they valleyed el toro, winched it out and opened it within about an hour, they painted Nitro's supports and ops are generally solid. I'm impressed!

I don't know Lightning Rod may be the exception to that rule.

Sounds like El Toro doesn't want to get in on the opening day festivities... It valleyed. Clearly it doesn't have the weather and gravity defying abilities that Nitro does.

Actually, looks like Zumanjaro is the biggest ride that's currently closed... but if that makes the Kingda Ka line move a little faster the next few days, I'm all for it. Good catch, but yeah that means faster ops on Kingda Ka so Boldikus has no excuse not to go to row one. All adult coasters, Safari and Skyway are open though so it's all good with me.
