Kings Island (KI) Discussion Thread
coasterbill replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Yeah I was about to jump on the person posting that until I saw who it was. You're right, and that's kind of a shame because I love the drop tower. Also as a side note if I were planning on getting rid of anything on that side of the park it would be Adventure Falls. Why is that ride still there? Why? -

You nailed it. -
So disappointed we didn't get a Boldikus 420 trip report. That would have been the most deep, well written, make all my trip reports look like ass trip report ever. Boldikus... "I awoke to the sight of the sun gleaming off of bright orange steel. The contrast of the Georgia sunrise and the glistening track was a memory of never forget, I knew it would be a great day". (Like 50 incredible pictures) Me... "Went to SFNE ride ops sucked, operations suck, skyway towers suck, #teampanda, Wicked Cyclone was good... here's one picture I took of the Sky Screamer that I didn't even ride The end. trip report>

Favorite Log Flume
coasterbill replied to apollo210's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Flat log flumes are dank. Build it inside a mountain structure or on a real hillside, but not on flat ground. "dank" dank- adjective: wet and cold in a way that is unpleasant. If I'm going to be wet and cold on a log flume I'd rather it be fun. Flat ground is unpleasant. But urban dictionary says "an expression requently used by stoners and hippies for something of high quality" In that case all log flumes are dank. -
Wait did I understand correctly? You spent 2 days at SFNE and skipped Batman? Lol what's wrong with you? I mean it's not a world beating ride but it's easily the third best ride in the park and it has the best zero G roll of any coaster in the world (that doesn't start with a K and end with an "umba" of course.

About 5 to 10 minutes. -
Okay enough of this uninteresting mumbo jumbo about boring stuff like new roller coasters. I have way more important and exciting news... I have heard from inside sources that the Holiday in the Park waffle truck will be at the park THIS SATURDAY for the Food Truck festival. Seriously considering going just for this... La Nutty! Here we come!

HAAALP! HHN USH vs FF SFMM vs KSF
coasterbill replied to gearbm95's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
To be fair even at the big haunt events it is fun to mix an an occasional coaster. We went to Howl O Scream at BGT and while we spent most of our time drinking and doing the mazes we mixed in a few coasters on the way by and ended the night from about 12:30 to 1am power riding Kumba. Nothing wrong with throwing in some rides... -

The Pierogies! But not just any Pierogies (take notes this is important and there will be a test later) the Pierogies from the place between Oasis and the Famous Fry place on the main midway. You'll see Pierogies in other places. Don't buy those... you want these. Allow me to illustrate. I have Photoshop and am a professional graphic designer but I'm going to use Microsoft Paint because it'll be funnier that way. -

I never experienced rattle on Intimidator or Behemoth. I almost wish Intimidator rattled, it might make it feel more like a roller coaster and less like sitting on my couch. -
