Parks invest money wherever they feel they would get the greatest return on their investment. Enthusiasts like to act as if parks make investments based on how long it's been since they've gotten a new coaster or based on it being "their turn" like it's some kind of gift the parks give to enthusiasts for being patient. That's not how the world works. Kings Dominion got a great addition this year.

I'm so glad I'm not one of these people who goes around looking for things to be offended about all the time or looking for problems in the words people use to describe things. That would be so damn exhausting...

Same, we did it a ton during Smoky Mountain Christmas at night when we were the only people on the train. The ride ops even took a picture for us. lol

Sounds great there's no chance in hell I'll ever ride that. I'm sure it'll be scenic though, if I lived close to the park I would absolutely do it.

We've managed to ride all the coasters in one day before with a Platinum Flash Pass (minus the kids coasters because we don't care) but I'll never do that again because you couldn't pay me enough to re-ride X2, Green Lantern or Riddler. We also rode Lex Luthor and Jet Stream... because it's a Log Flume so of course I did.

I read the original post and thought, "Actually Mean Streak is smoother than El Toro if you sit in the front and lean forward, but I won't post that because nobody will believe me and it sounds ridiculous... plus El Toro still sh*ts all over Mean Streak and is still very smooth". You guys are on to me.

Volcano is outstanding, but Afterburn is one of the best old school B&M inverts in America, topped only by Montu and Raptor for me. So to each his own but I'd take Afterburn by a wide margin despite the fact that I love Volcano.

The only thing better than an embedded Quicktime video in 2016 is a vertical embedded Quicktime video in 2016.

We're not debating anything where well thought out arguments would apply. We're comparing completely arbitrary opinions on which coasters we like better. It's not in any way necessary for me to justify my opinion (which for the record, is that your opinion is crap).

Even if they did get a giant RMC woodie you would still find a way to be not satisfied. If it doesn't have a launch like Lightning Rod, you'd point it out. If it has 20 airtime moments instead of 21, you'd point it out. The Kings Dominion thread is capable of that. And what makes you think that? I liked Delerium and even BG's family woodie when they came out. What makes me think that is the fact that you're still complaining
