No I'm a trumpet and they only had 2 to cut after the 5th camp so they might've been milking more money out of me, but I didn't care I just took it, after I got cut, as an extended lessons program to get better. The show was awesome because, with the exception of Pioneer, all the corps there will most likely be in Finals so 7 finalist corps is always a good show. I was a little upset with the judging as I felt the gap between certain corps was too high for what I saw. Like I felt the crossmen gave a better overall performance then the Glassmen, with Glassmen having a much better hornline sound, and I thought the Crossmen would edge them or come close to it but they were seperated by 2 points. Also the Crusaders were down 2 or so points to the Knights and I felt that shouldve been closer too. But in the end the Devils and Cavies are really tight and the scores reflected that and it will be a great finals in the top 4. If the Crown score wasn't padded for the home crowd they were less then a point from the Cavies which means the top 4 are less then 1.5 apart and thats awesome. OK thats enough for now lol I can answer questions if you have any!

I'm saying that no matter how unbiased anybody says they are, there will always be a bias, and it is human nature to feel sympathy for well respected, well known celebrities who pass on or other matters. So even though there will be no blatent pity votes it will still affect the subconcious of the voters therefore biasing their opinion. It is the same reason that many people get off Scott free in our jury system, because no matter how unbiased and "fair" the jury SAYS they are they will still vote from the heart too much.

Bruce Willis would be to Arnold style for me but you have a good one in Sam Neil. I think of his darker character in Event Horizon and I can totally see a Mr. Freeze. So Sam Neil as Freeze Depp as Riddler Now we need a Catwoman and we can write our petition to Nolan!! I'm thinking Charlize Theron maybe, I just don't want Catwoman to be a series ruiner by just being a sexy eyecandy leather suit actress!

Who do you think would make a bad A Mr. Freeze that fits this series (Arnolds wouldn't fit this series)? I tried to think of a couple and most I thought of I threw out, one was Johnny Depp lol And though that sounds weird I then got thinking how awesome Depp might be as the Riddler! Thoughts on that?

Lol I would but I can see the reviews already. Why is the riddler not as psychotic as the Joker?? It would've been soooo much better! Where as the riddler is supposed to be super intelligent and takes pleasure from puzzling people, people would see him as trying to trick people like Joker did but not as menacingly, so they'd be annoyed. Another note from me, if Haley Berry is Catwoman I boycott!

Yeh I forgot about Riddler, but what would happen is people who don't know the comics would think he is just a stupid version of the Joker.

I was thinking the next one would have three minor villains acting as a major rather then one major and a minor. Harley Quinn, seen coming from arkum so we assume she is taking advice from joker but we never see him. Catwoman, causing love/hate conflicts with our often troubled vigilante Batbale And I wanna say they will bring Penguin back since it was speculated he would be in this one. No matter what happens, if they cast a Robin for this film I will not see it, I promise that!

Alright so I saw this on saturday and then again today and all I can say is WOW, for the first time ever in my life I paid to see a movie in theaters more then once! Heath Ledger was absolutely the star of this film. It could have been called The Joker and claimed as a movie about the Joker and I wouldn't have been mad. He just was so freaking good in that role as a dark menacing Joker! 9.7/10 -0.2 for the raspy voice that makes me want to kick Bale in his Batcrotch -0.05 for Maggie who seemed to careless about trying to act -0.05 for the bus driving away scene (At the bank) My favorite part is the magic trick and my favorite scene is in the hospital parking lot (HILARIOUS!) What got me most about this film was that for the first time you just couldn't side with the villain (Joker) and for me, it was the first time where I was mad at myself for laughing at the villain or saying wow that was a good plan. I really got mad because I was like, "I can't cheer this guy on he is so damn evil!"

I found this caption corny yet I laughed hardest at it " Most everyone in the group would agree that this was the hands down (or should I say hands up?) BEST coaster of the trip!" Great report but it makes me want to not go back to work and take a trip there for EGF!

Dude that sucks. Yeh I'm excited to see Cavies live because their always a great drill corps. Crown beat the Cadets this year which is awesome since I hate where Hopkins has taken the Cadets. The Zone in '05 was one of the best shows I've ever seen and then he just went AWOL. The main reason I'm happy is because my Crossmen are gonna be there. They're not the best or even finalist caliber much anymore but they are still my corps. I made it through 9 camps in '06 before I got cut.

Well I figured anyone that would want to go would know what it was lol DCI = Marching Music's Major League It is groups of Brass, Percussion and Color Guard competing.

Ok so this started as an "I don't think the GP is dumb for not realizing Cedar Fair changed ride names" but turned into just bad. Man- "I don't know why it is called Nighthawk" Me- "Well the park changed ownership from Paramount to Cedar Fair so copyright stuf.." Man- "OOOH ok I didn't know that" **At this point my part in the convo. was over** Son- "What was it called Dad I can't remember?" Man- "It was Lightspeed Journey to Borgland" Now if he had said, "Borg something" or "Planet Borg" or something like that I wouldn't have put it here but even if you haven't been to a park in 10 years would you EVER think ANYONE in their right mind would EVER name a coaster that???? Maybe a simulator...MAYBE but MAN, come on lol.

How many PMW accidents can one coaster season take, sheesh. I lost a hat on Medusa (SFGAdv) when I was doing a read the g-meter on physics day and looked up after reading and the bill caught the seat and BAM hat gone. As I was walking off I was looking for it to see if someone could get it after closing and a park employee said, "If you lost a hat I'll go look for it." I told him it wasn't worth it. Maybe I saved a life maybe they would've stopped the ride, either way a hat is NOT worth it.

Does my PM count? This was one of the better TR's I went through today in my boredness and then I saw that comment!

You can have P & M on the moon but W wouldn't light due to lack of oxygen so that ends this thread coasters can't work w/o the PMW triangle.
