Wish I caught you earlier, but you mght find it anyway. Since you were (or are?) headed to Jamaica you can hit up Coney Island and catch Cyclone! I lived about 30 mins East of Jamaica til' I went to college and I've NEVER been on the Cyclone, it is crazy.

If it was down for the trip, and people said the trip was ruined by not riding it then they would be greatly under-appreciating the work of you and Elissa. I doubt anybody would say that but you never know, since it is the supposed (I say supposed since I haven't ridden) #1/#2 woodie.

So it has the fury of a .... cute kitten. And the ZEST of a crazy... Lady bugs. Looks interesting

Alright 3 questions 1. What kind of camera? 2. How much? 3. Where's the best place to purchase one? I took a photo class in HS and college and I really enjoyed it and would like a good non-point-n-shoot digital but don't know much about them. Thanks, and Chicago looked fun btw!

When I am at school (VT!) I work as a textbook clerk. Right now until Aug. 22nd and then into the future since I absolutely LOVE IT! and there are TONS of job oppurtunities, I am a Mining Engineer. In the internship I am basically a training foreman doing a little bit of everything and when I graduate I will do the same thing only eventually moving up to managing a whole plant. Jobs I do there, Maintenance, shoveling rock (WOO! not), driving 35, 50, and 60 ton haul trucks, video taping blasts (EXPLOSIVES FRIGGIN ROCK!), overseeing small projects, breaking rock with a hammer (Machine not actual lol), running samples, and running the plant (Crushers, belts, and screens!) Yeh it is a good life for me because I work outdoors, I get paid well, I get to see blasts and drive huge trucks, and I get to be a manager.

::Rolls eyes:: lol j/k I'm not even on the trip. I wanted to get this credited so bad before I started summer work here in SC but with a 2 week time period and no car it didn't happen. Oh well maybe next year El Toro!

I went back and found some things that may seem like a tenth duck and also have continued confidence in my answer! I also found some pictures that would've had great hiding spots and I can't wait to tell you which was my favorite hiding spot!! Oh yeh and this was a great trip report too!!!

the only thing I got was the german park and german site and that page 2 meant page two of the resulting google thread since nothing useful was on page two of the thread. But how were we supposed to get plohn and achterbahn or was he just lucky?

To deviate from the off-topic posting about posts being off-topic I have a MM question! Being from the east coast I haven't yet visited the park and I was wondering if you have any future plans of including it in a TPR trip as that would be the best way for me to go and get my moneys worth out've a west coast adventure. I realize it is your home park and thus you do events there rather then trips (West coast bash etc.) but I was just curious! Thanks a bunch! EDIT: If this is more appropriate in a different thread feel free to move or delete it or let me know!

So of my 2 visits to Carowinds this summer the most entertaining thing I did was watch people get pelted by the water jet on Saturator and my favorite coaster was Afterburn! I also needed a medic (or chiropractor) after a back breaking, yet extremely fun, ride in the last row of Thunderroad!

That is stuck in my head now and it booted thorns! The AE support picture is my favorite and I can't place a finger on why. Some really great photos though!

So here is some food for thought. Rolan wanted the third movie to be a compilation of all the major villains of the movies plus some. Scarecrow - Alive Joker - Alive Two-Face - Plausibly alive (Put into a secret cell to keep the public unaware maybe) and Ras al Gul. Now that sounds weird but according to the comics he goes into a Hole of meditation or something like that, and this hole makes him immortal. Well I thought nothing of it b/c they were based on a realism BUT I just watched Begins again and I noticed something I missed the last few times. Right before the monorail derails, he shuts his eyes and seems to be calming himself as if meditating. It could be nothing and of course with Ledger R'ing I.P. the super league of villains might be a caput idea but maybe not. 4 returning villains plus 2 new villains. Could be interesting!

Hmm... sounds like the park could be at faullt for allowing them on, unless there is proof the family was doing something that could lead to flipping over. (Grabbing raft walls to get higher or something) Edit: Just saw Slidewinder was mentioned and this is true, they should have a scale for safety. Heck my group was too light and had to beg for another rider.
