  1. If they save the Grizzly trains for literally any reason other than to start a "National Worst Coaster Trains in History" museum in Washington DC I'm going to piss myself laughing.

  2. Grizzly is getting scrapped, but I want it to go to Dorney because I'm an asshole like that.

  3. They could send the double decker carousel to WoF and start a defunct park carousel collection since they have Geauga Lake’s carousel.

  5. ^ I think what he meant was the park could close without notice/warning for good, like Six Flags did with Kentucky Kingdom.

  6. If the Carousel is saved I could actually see it going somewhere other than a theme park. I almost wonder if this piece of land could turn into one of those "Live" centers that cities love to build near sports stadiums (La Live, Philly Live, Texas Live, etc) and in that case it might even stay exactly where it is. It could go literally anywhere.

  7. I mean, if they're selling the land, why wouldn't we expect them to sell the rides too. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  10. I visited this park when it first opened as Marriott's Great America back in the 1970s. We almost lost it when Marriott pulled out, but the City of Santa Clara ran it for a while, before Paramount and Cedar Fair came along.

  11. Unlikely and selfish, but I'd really love to see Carowinds get Railblazer. It would fit at the site of the old rapids ride. Or just scrap that POS Vortex. Or Nighthawk. I'm glad we visited in December. I liked all the coasters. Demon was among the smoother Arrow loopers I've been on.

  12. Yeah no way Cedar Fair sticks it out for even 5 years imo.

  13. https://www.knoxnews.com/story/money/2022/06/25/dolly-parton-knoxville-unveils-heartsong-lodge-and-resort-progress-dollywood/7715704001/ Seems part of it was cut off. Suite 1986 might be fun but the price is way to steep. Story I saw earlier said it starts at $10k.

  14. I was recently at Hurricane Harbor and when I passed by Bonzai Pipelines it appeared to be permanently closed. It was featured on the map located inside of hurricane harbor, which confused me. It is not listed either on the six flags app or it’s website which most likely confirms that it’s defunct. I am not necessarily disappointed in this closing as I was never a big fan of it. I hated being in the closed tube, one time they asked if I wanted a countdown, I was obviously scared, so of course I agreed. I thought the countdown was a nice gesture by the operator, I got in and during the count down i was getting ready. To my surprise on the count of 3 they pulled a Mr. Freeze and Dropped me. I was not ready and when I dropped I hit my head. I didn’t really process what was going on since the water was spraying everywhere in my face. I got out and felt violated. That story is kinda funny now though. I do hope the replace it with a good fit, I could possibly see them put a water coaster in place of it. They have plenty of space to expand into the parking lots and it would seem reasonable to them. It would let them say they got another coaster and it would be popular. I wouldn’t mind the addition. Though that is just my speculation.

  15. It’s a shame that Vekoma Flying Dutchmen still exist. If they didn’t, you wouldn’t have to worry about it

  16. Well Skull Mountain has a roof so even if it storms all day you're always in for an amazing day at Great Adventure. #Priorities
