Thanks for the feedback, I've been hesitant to post it because I've seen some truly stunning creations on here that I wasn't sure I could compete with.

Another update will be coming later this week! The park isn't on a real timeline, but it's kind of starting around the 70's if one wants to be technical, hence the Arrow Loop (Which I now see that the other support got deleted, I'll fix that!)

Park News:

Attendance has been high throughout the Spring and guest satisfaction is very high. Lines varied between 1/2 and hour to 45 minutes on most rides. David Illum was interviewed by local media outlets and he was quoted as saying "I couldn't be happier, we have many families coming here and everyone has something to ride. All of our attractions have been open and running well, except for Double Take's motor difficulties on June 23rd, but Arrow promptly replaced it and the ride has been certified safe for operation. The money doesn't matter as much to me as my investors, I'd rather get paid in smiles."

The staff is friendly and working hard throughout the park and the summer was full of screams, fun, and beautiful weather. Mr. Illum asked what was in store for park guests this Fall, he replied "We're holding an event called Fall Fest with a small Halloween theme, so be sure to come weekends in the Fall for it!"

Next years attractions are in planning stages and being decided upon after guest surveys are finished. Mr. Illum gave us a hint when he said "You should think about bringing a towel to the park next year."

Park News:

Mr. Illum loves Halloween, so Fall Fest was full of scary scenes throughout the park. He set up a scary walk through area in the park's entry plaza and put fog in around the park. A haunted walkway by the Wonder Wheel proved to be very popular with all ages. Fall Fest ran from September to Halloween and the park then closed down for the offseason. The park's new ride for Year 2 has begun construction, and during the offseason, the press will be invited to see the progress of the new ride.

The new ride will be Lumberjack Falls, a flume ride that will be on the other side of the entry plaza. The ride will wind around the trees and in and out of themed structures, culminating in a large drop sure to soak all riders! Mr Illum also said that the ride will be an expansion of the park that will include a few kid's rides and a petting zoo. Be sure to keep an eye out for an offseason construction tour!

Here are some snapshots of the park all done up for Fall Fest!

Funny you should mention that, I saw that HHE was having a sell-off and last night I was thinking about adding one of those attractions so it can be saved.

I'm looking through CD5's park at the attractions that he has up for sale and figuring out which one would a smaller park like IH want.

Construction Preview!

Mr. Illum provided the local paper, the Westworth Press, With a picture of construction work going on for Illum Hills' newest ride, Lumberjack Falls. Mr Illum wrote that construction was "going smoothly and the ride is set to open for Memorial Day."

An offseason construction tour is coming up soon so the improvements and additions to the park can be shown to an eager public!

The station work has begun and the ride has gone vertical!

Construction Tour Update

Snow and cold weather didn't delay the construction tour! The tour was held on February 28th, Year 2 with many members of the press in attendance. Mr Illum showed off the park to the press and the expansion with Lumberjack falls. In addition to the flume being added, two rides have been added for the younger peeps and an animal exhibit has been added as well, though Mr. Illum said this would only be for this season only. Without further ado, here are the photos of the changes!

The park looks great!

What type of file are your pictures? (JPEG, BMP, ect...) I ask this because it takes FOREVER for your pictures to load! Does anyone else have this problem? (My computer is pretty fast, too...)
