DelLagos Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Very nice Park , but i don´t love the colours, the combination is not so good.... And one question: Where can i get the Storm Runner trains??? Nice Park!!!
viking86 Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 The buildings looks pretty good, but your park has too much crazy colours in my opinion, which makes it look a bit cartoonish. Its not bad though, but I would use a little less colours on the buildings..
Cheapalcohol Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 A lot of IOA uses crazy colors too, but I think that park is awesome! Anyway, this is an awesome park! I look forward to more updates on this!
spaminacan11 Posted July 19, 2006 Author Posted July 19, 2006 Well IMO the colors aren't really that "crazy." I am not really using any bright colors anymore. It's mainly just grey, black, that dark purple, dark red, and yellow for some contrast. I can't make it the same colors because then it will make some of the buildings look blocky and that is NOT what I want.
DarkStitch626 Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Where can I find the Intamin trains used in the screens? Looks to me like Amazin'Earl or someone else made those? Also, great job so far!
spaminacan11 Posted July 19, 2006 Author Posted July 19, 2006 They are actually made by the same guy that made the 8 cars trainer. You can find them here. http://forums.rctspace.com/index.php?showtopic=21642
spaminacan11 Posted July 21, 2006 Author Posted July 21, 2006 Well I have been working ont he path to Phantom more than the buildings around Phantom, but here is one of them. Tell me what you think, Spaminacan11
spaminacan11 Posted July 24, 2006 Author Posted July 24, 2006 Here is another building. This is my last update for a while because I'm going to Denver...
spaminacan11 Posted August 13, 2006 Author Posted August 13, 2006 Well, I have darkened the whole Phantom area and changed a few things. Here is an overview of it. Enjoy, Spaminacan11
coasterdude5 Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 Wow, that looks really compact! Should be a great ride.
CommanderLock Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 I really like this style for the inverted. Looks like something a NewElements person would create. That is FAR better than anything I could ever do in RCT2.
broadwayjunkie92 Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 This might be a stupid question, but where do you get those stairs that go along the lift?
Super Looper Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 ^^ This is very good, but not really NE caliber. Also, the trees by the rocket need some variation and the dark path near the invert should be changed to something other then gray or black. I like the invert's layout and the support work. Keep it up. ^ Those are a set of catwalks by Phatage. Download some parks and I'm sure at least one of them has them. You could also build a 4D coaster lift under the lift of the other coaster and you'll get almost the same effect, use 0-clearence to build the 4D right under the other one.
spaminacan11 Posted August 15, 2006 Author Posted August 15, 2006 Ya, I am definitally not quite up to NE calibur yet. I am working towards that though. I will take the suggestions about invert section's paths, but what color should I change them to, because it needs to fit with the section. Thanks for all of the feedback, Spaminacan11
Super Looper Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 I would change it to some kind of brick, to maintain the dark atmosphere and at the same time vary the colors. ^While it is true that NE is supposed to be home to the best coaster builders, many skilled designers have never even heard of NE. Don't look at NE as some sort of a goal, look at it as a bunch of grumpy perferctionists who only except what they believe to be the best. That sasid, this is a really good park. The attention to detail is incredible. Keep it up and Im sure you'll be at NE in no time.

Don't get me wrong, there are some seriously good parks on there, but the critisisms border on nastyness. Back on topic... Phantom looks great. I love enclosed coasters and i'm guessing the inside parts would, in reality, be in the dark with perhaps some fog effects. My kind of coaster!
Super Looper Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 ^That is exactly the reason I'm getting into RCT3. Ive seen some great things done in it and I wanna give it a try. On that last screen, the building on the top right has almost no red compared to the other too. I think it should have some red on the roof so all the buildings in the area sorta match. Wierd thing I know, but this makes the whole screen look odd to me.
Worm Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 ^If i can give you a tip: Don't buy RCT3 unless yuo have like the best computer out there! i bought it and it kinda sucked. I felt it was a waste of my dough!
Super Looper Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Good tip but I already have it. my comp runs even the biggest parks no problem; it better for the freakin 3 grand I spent on it.
spaminacan11 Posted August 29, 2006 Author Posted August 29, 2006 Wow, I haven't updated in a while. I guess it is just due to the amount of homework and soccer I have. This is it right now... Lift supports are done, new gueue building, Top Spin(Shadow) contstruction...there is much more going on in that area than you can see though... Spaminacan11
