Twister II Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 So it's finally the end of the high school season. I've had a great season! Good enough to go to state, but only in 1 event. So during my time of laying around, being bored, why not to a PhotoTripReport?! We placed 7th in the 200 Freestyle Relay, split was 23.87, for you swimmers. Ah, finally, food! Roma's, the amazing Italian restaurant. The buses decided to play bumper cars in the parking lot, so we had to get a ride home from another team. "So this horse walking into a bar..." Although rumored to be extinct, ACEr's do still roam Colorado! WTF!? I thought this was the kiddie area! Kids were packed everywhere! Our relay finished 7th, that means we get to come back tomorrow and swim again! No comment. SHOCKER! Here is the humongous pool we swim in. The kiddie pools were drained out. This is where our 'camp' was. Welcome to Prelims! These dandy shirts are what the people going to state got. My Lucky Charms bag holds all my swimming gizmo's. Here's me. Mad. At 6:30.
waterviper Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 DIO!!!!!!!!! \m/ (>_<) \m/ You're the last in lineeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!
DerekRx Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 LOL! As soon as this was posted, I was wondering if Wes would go thru with his promise. Wes, there's a reason you're the Captain of Chat Awesome, and this shows why!
DerekRx Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 Man if my high school had a DIO team, I totally would have joined! Heck, I could have been the captain! Sadly, we didn't have the facilities needed for this.
Jew Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 Dio > s w i m Meets. This is a scientifically proven fact.
DerekRx Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 Wait, this was a Swimteam meet?! Well that's extremely lamer than a DIO meet. And here I was, thinking you were all cool and on the cutting edge of Olympic sports with the DIO competition. Talk about a disappointment! BTW, Wes: I LOVE how if I type in xswimx it shows up DIO!
Swimace Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 23.8 isn't half bad. Was that off of a flat start or a relay start?
Twister II Posted May 23, 2006 Author Posted May 23, 2006 23.8 isn't half bad. Was that off of a flat start or a relay start? Flat, I was lead off.
Jew Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 Little known fact: DIO holds all the s-w-i-m records in the state of Colorado.
coasterdude5 Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 Nice times! I wish I could've made it to our state competition. But I think Disney World is a tad bit better!
the sound Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 The Pool i swam the staes at was Humungeser (if that is a word) then that one. BTW, 23 seconds is a nice time, wish i could clock that.
coasters 4 me Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 Man, that swimming pool is way too packed. I cant remember my time for something like that. But about 2 years ago, my school entered me into a swimming contest. I cam 3rd out of 6. i was pretty proud because I thought I wasn't a good swimmer. BTW, are you guys in America of school now for summer holiday? That is so unfair. I have another month of school and have exams all next week. Man, this sucks.
trustkill22 Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 ^^^Maybe your not a good swimmer and everyone else just sucked more than you. I'm JK. I wasn't allowed to go on any of my schools swim teams because my skin thrashing abs and my diamond cutting pecks kept poking peoples eyes out.
