azbob19 Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 I can not believe how busy the park is? With 16 coasters you would think the lines wouldn't be as long as they are. What was the average wait time do you think?
Guest Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 It looked so busy that it looks like they even used space across feedmill road
Nrthwnd Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 ^^ 47.25 minutes U.S. = 1 Hour 13 minutes Canadian (depending on the ~current~ exchange rate...)
V2-dude Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 Is S:TE taller than Sky Tower? Sky Tower : 380ft (Approx.) S:TE : 415ft
matteocrepaldi Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 Awesome pictures! Too bad I live too far away to come and see it myself.
GoldRusheROCKS Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 Is S:TE taller than Sky Tower? Sky Tower : 380ft (Approx.) S:TE : 415ft It still could be taller than S:TE elevation wise... Sky Tower's at the peak of the mountain, while S:TE is down the hill a bit, maybe not 35 feet further down, maybe not, but there is a pretty good descent from ST to S:TE.
socalMAN123 Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 Sadly, I have never been on this wonder. When I buy my SFMM passes today, I will seriously consider going on Sky Tower next time we go. ---Brent

waterviper Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 It looked so busy that it looks like they even used space across feedmill road Indeed it does! Maybe SFMM should have thought about the parking lot getting overpacked before they made the parking lot coaster (Scream) which took up a lot of parking spaces! Hmmm maybe that idea about a parking garage isn't such a bad idea now since the parking lot is getting overpacked. Disneyland did it!! Now that Shapiro is in the captians chair maybe it will get built!!
waterviper Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 Where does the employees park now after Scream was built? Do they park in a previous used public parking? If so then what I said about Scream was valid. If not then what I said about Scream is not valid. But I still hold my position about building the parking garage concidering that they have to park across the road when the parking lot gets overcrowded. Anyways I was just thinking about something! Could you imagine being up in the skytower when an earthquake hits!! Everytime I have gone up there that thought always crosses my mind!! Mike "not to thrilled about earthquakes" Black
