pkdcoaster Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Curious if you had ever been and what you thought about it..... or have you done anything else extreme like that....bungee 1000 feet off a bridge or something? JEFF
AznShortBoi8021 Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 I've bungy jumped off a bridge before. I forgot the statistics and dimensions of the bridge and stuff, but it was loads of fun. Way better than any Skycoaster or any freefall ride.
Twister II Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 I'd LOVE to skydive! From what I've heard though, it's really scary because really, its nothing but free fall! I bet the Kissimmee Skycoaster would be the closest thing to it, but then again Skydiver at Castles n' Coasters was pretty amazing too. That is something I'd want in my backyard!
SonOfBeastSucks Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 I would also love to sky dive, and I will when it is legal for me to do so in less than five months. I have a lot of friends who have skydived, and all but one loved it.
Worm Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 i've bungeed, skycoasterd, skydived, shark cage diving, annd absailing. And yes, i am a adenaline junkie Bloukrans - Apperantly the highest bungee jump in the world. (700 feet) its where i jumped.
Meteornotes Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 I think I'm finally going to go skydiving this summer. It's something I've wanted to do for awhile now. Also hopefully I'll get to go white water rafting again this year. dt
benzo41190 Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 There was one place that I wanted to go skydiving at but you had to be 18 to do it I was a year short
Jew Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 From what I've heard though, it's really scary because really, its nothing but free fall! That was deep.
Rider117 Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 I have skydived and it is amazing. Best money spent, I am going again in May hopefully.
Twister II Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Well apparently now, my boyfriend just invited me to go skydiving in 2 months.
Erik Johnson Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Well apparently now, my boyfriend just invited me to go skydiving in 2 months. I thought you have to be 18 years old to go skydiving, but again I am probably just plain wrong.
Twister II Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 Well apparently now, my boyfriend just invited me to go skydiving in 2 months. I thought you have to be 18 years old to go skydiving, but again I am probably just plain wrong. That's what I think if you are going single. The place is like, a few miles away, I'll probably be strapped to someone else. Hmmm....
SonOfBeastSucks Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 ^^ You can legally skydive before you are 18, you just have to sign some extra forms and stuff like that.
Carnage Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 That's what I think if you are going single. The place is like, a few miles away, I'll probably be strapped to someone else. Hmmm.... I assume it's the same as around here, in which it'll be either a tandem jump, or a static line. Tandem is when an instructor is strapped to your back. Static line is where there is a cable attached to your rip cord that pulls the parachute as soon as you jump out of the plane(basically). From what I understand those are the two options available to beginners. I'd imagine I'd go for the tandem, as at least with that you get more freefall.
