Fatality Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 Here are some exterior photo's I've came across. I hope you guys will enjoy looking at these. Thank You! And last... My favorite. Hint: Can you find the secret SFMM in this Photo ^^ ? I'd like suggestions, and comments please. Thanks!! - Ian
coaster_maniac Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 excellent pictures, dude! and ps i found it, i found it! it's at the bottom of the superman picture! woot woot! hahaah
Fatality Posted February 28, 2006 Author Posted February 28, 2006 ^Haha, Yes. Thanks Im glad you liked it.
Darien Laker Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 I really like all of those pics, especially the one of Goliath. I wish Six Flags didn't re-use that name like 3 other times, because that should be the only Goliath.
Fatality Posted February 28, 2006 Author Posted February 28, 2006 ^ Yeah. Which one was the first Goliath anyways?
pkdcoaster Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 SFMM 2000 Cool pics BTW, I really like the sky in the Superman pic, Like it is going into outer space. JEFF
socalMAN123 Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Awesome pics! They look freakin sweet! Brent "I wish my photography was that good" Shenton
Fatality Posted March 1, 2006 Author Posted March 1, 2006 ^It's not that hard. It's pretty easy... I started doing photography since I was 12. I'm 14 at the moment.
SharkTums Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Alright, I guess I'll play the bad guy here since Wes is nowhere to be found! The pictures aren't very interesting. There isn't even a train in two of them. The Goliath one you can't even see half of the train. Just from my experience with photos and video, people like to see the Roller Coaster doing something, not just sitting there being track.
Fatality Posted March 1, 2006 Author Posted March 1, 2006 ^See when I took these pictures, I just took them like fast. I didn't really care. But I guess you can say it would be more interesting with the Trains. But yeah, when I go to Knott's Or Six Flags soon. I will take some pictures. They will be awesome, so don't forget!
sfmmFREAK Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 i think you can tell by my screen name, that i love the pictures!
Atarashiihito Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 The Superman one is more interesting, except for the additive text. The Goliath one's exposure is really horrible, since it is backlight from the sky. You could have opened it up a stop or two, and that would also fix the washed out colors. But it is sharp, so good job on that. Sorry, just bugging me. -Jimmy "I am a photography major so please ignore my compulsiveness to fix photos" Newman
Fatality Posted March 1, 2006 Author Posted March 1, 2006 ^Yes, I guess. Elissa was the only person that had a negative response. But oh well. lol.
Fatality Posted March 1, 2006 Author Posted March 1, 2006 ^ You need to find the SFMM on the Superman photo.
Fatality Posted March 2, 2006 Author Posted March 2, 2006 What are you trying to prove ? Fine if you think it's annoying then I will change it.
waterviper Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 I like the angles in your pictures but like Elissa said having a train on the tracks would of been much better! I also find the avatar a bit distracting too!
Wes Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 ^^ If it was just a static picture it would be far less annoying. The constant flashing just gets on my nerves.
Fatality Posted March 2, 2006 Author Posted March 2, 2006 There, I changed it. & Yes, I did do the pictures off of photoshop.
SharkTums Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 I second that 'thanks'! I was actually about to pull it myself!
What Now Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 The photos aren't bad. They are better then pictures I took when I was 14. A critique: Deja Vu: - Great Lighting - I would've picked a better angle. That tree is in the way. - A train would've been nice. Makes for a more interesting shot. Goliath: - Nice Angle! - The Lighting is kid of flat. - Would've been better if you got the whole train in the shot. (Were you using a digital camera?) Superman: - Kind of Blurry (it is a bit hard to get a decent Sunset Shot though). - Too much Dead Space
