robbalvey Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Simi Valley is quite far away from SFMM. I would try the following hotels: Holiday Inn Express - Valencia Best Western - Valencia Hilton Garden Inn - Valencia Motel 6 - Sylmar Hampton Inn - Santa Clarita Ramada Inn - Santa Clarita Super 8 - Sylmar Super 8 - Santa Clarita Hope that helps! --Robb
What Now Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 ^Simi Valley is about a 30 minute drive from SFMM. From Simi Valley, you get on at SR118 east to I-405 to I-5.
dougr Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Poop. I hate you all. Die. Really tho.... hope it goes great. And remember there is that all-important TR of the The Day In Question, hint hint. #@$%@$%! Spring break starts Saturday here, and you guys are 3 days drive away! %^@%#$%! Yes, there must be pictures...
Token Yankee Guy Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Hey Hydrawolf, If you wanted a hotel that's very close to SFMM, you're best bet is to go with the Best Western Valencia Inn. That's the hotel me and Monica will be staying at since it's right between SFMM and Robb and Elissa's place. and if you do come, you will beat me in distance for this party. lol.
Fatality Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 I think I might go to this Spring Party. I will just need to buy myself a Season Pass at Six Flags: MM. This will be my second time at SF:MM. I'm 14 Years old, would I need a Parent to come with me ?

To come to our party you must be 14 or older, or be accompanied by an adult.
Guy T. Koepp Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 This is going to be the kicker to an awesome weekend! Guy "There's no party like an Alvey party." Koepp
Mr. Volcano Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 Aw man, its too bad I live halfway across the country where nothing fun happens at all! Anyways, sounds like you guys are going to have a fun party, maybe sometime I will be able to do a Get-Together Alvey party but for now I'll have to stick with the meet ups at some of the more local parks to me. -Justin
SharkTums Posted February 21, 2006 Author Posted February 21, 2006 ^Don't you live ACROSS the country!??!? Not just halfway!
metrock Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 Well it looks like I will be there. As long as I dont get stuck at work too late. Sending out the email to RSVP now. Time to see if I can get some pictures together.
Mr. Volcano Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 ^Don't you live ACROSS the country!??!? Not just halfway! Hmmm. Ouch. Hahaha, I didn't realize how stupid that comment was until I re-read the reply and was like "oh yeah, I guess halfway across the country would be in texas... or something." No more waking up at 6:30 in the morning and eating frosted flakes right away, then getting on the computer and posting while your "halfway" tired. -Justin "yeah Florida isn't halfway across the country from CA..."
DerekRx Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 If there was some eSaver that would allow me to get there cheap, and I didn't have 2 trips planned for the 2 weekends following, I would totally be at the party. I wouldn't go to Solace, but there's just something worth flying 5 hours for to hang out with the Alveys. It could be Robb's kickass wings, the hijinx, the weird games, the stories, or all of the above. One of these times I will make it out there for one of your parties, I promise!
Guy T. Koepp Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 ^I will drink a beer in your honor. Guy "Any excuse to drink a beer." Koepp
Token Yankee Guy Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 ^ Yay, 30 TPRers I get to scar for life! Monica and I are almost all set for our trip, we already got a three night reservation at the Knott's Resort Hotel, then we just need to get the best western hotel and a hotel near DLR. Plus I bought my ticket for SFMM so we are all set for this crazy trip.
Token Yankee Guy Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 How come I'm not on the Roll Call List ? Did you e-mail Robb?
metrock Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 I am thinking I am going to be the only person at the party that isn't doing any of the coaster events of that week. Last time I did any sort of theme park was Knotts back in November. And that was only because it was free for military! Hmmm....30+ people at the party and I don't think I know anyone. This should be interesting. What happened to all the old people I used to know? Gooses Realm of Intensity and SCCC. Those were the days!
ebl Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 "What happened to all the old people I used to know?" I'll probably be there---and I'm old! Eric
65skylark Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Wow, over 30 people. This should be a fun party. The only people I've met before on the list is Chris and Natalee Godsey. What is the most people you have had at your place for a TPR meet in the past?
Token Yankee Guy Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 "What happened to all the old people I used to know?" I'll probably be there---and I'm old! Eric Hey Eric, are you going to solace? Because I'll be staying down at the Knott's Resort Hotel 9th-12th for the 10th evening events, and then the 11th, Monica and I are going in as general public since it's cheaper. (25 bucks via baskin robins coupon)
SharkTums Posted February 22, 2006 Author Posted February 22, 2006 We had 51 people for the September Euro DVD Premier Party.
