Another idea I got was to have this 16-seat-wide car, two rows of seats, so that it kind of looks like a top spin car. So it would maneuver through inversions, and then, on a straightaway, it would all of a sudden spin 180* so that you go through the rest of the course backwards, before turning again before entering the station.

how about a spinning rollercoaster where the rotation is on the horizontal (so you swing upside down). mayb have a 100* drop, a couple of sharp corners and an inversion.

I was thinking a Drop ride on the same size as Drop Zone at Kings Dominion and the seats are like X at Six Flags Magic Mountain. As you drop the seats rotate! It could happen but it may not.
