Just thought this might be fun for us in the closed season. If you have any videos of rides no longer in operation post them here.

Very fun to re-visit the old USO attraction.

 

We were there in (gasp) 1991, after Back To The Future had just opened. Jaws was shut down for one reason or another, as was the Earthquake subway experience. We were not happy visitors. But...

 

Kongfrontation was pretty kool to ride thru, considering it was done with the tram tour at USH and one smaller bldg. etc. A definite unique ride, IMhO.

 

Thanks for sharing. And excellent idea about sharing old vids of attractions that maybe, might not be around any more. Like the Kong.

If I had gotten my camcorder about a year earlier than I did, I could've gotten POV of Spellbreaker at Legoland California.

I have a 1991 video of Knott's Wacky Soap Box Racers on a VHS tape around here somewhere. (Most of my stuff is "around here somewhere.")

 

It was shot using one of those huge, full size VHS camcorders. How I was able to hold it steady on the ride is a mystery, but the video came out pretty well.
