Some great pictures of Canadian airline WestJet's new "Frozen" 737.

I'm pretty impressed with what they've done here - not only did they theme the aircraft interior (luggage bins and headrests) but even the outside paint job has a bit of a story to it, starting with winter in the back, and transitioning to summer in the front... much as how Canadian vacationers will be traveling from the frozen tundra to Southern California!

I mean, it's no ANA Star Wars jet, or EVA's Hello Kitty service, but pretty cool!

I work air traffic control in Toronto. This caused quite a stir when it arrived (of the good sort) It was all very secretive...to the point of it coming in on a non noise preferential runway after midnight to hide it from the spotters. There was a bit of confusion amongst ATC as obviously we don't know about the paint job an aircraft has on it. We were being directed for it to land somewhere that it normally woudn't and were saying "Ermmm it is just Westjet". All was revealed afterwards. Awesome.

Unsurprisingly the first flight it did was to Orlando.

It looks great, and hopefully when it is in the hangar next I will get some more pictures and post them here.

Ha! That's awesome... I'm sure that sort of thing happens for actual VIP aircraft, and not the average WestJet 737...

I have to say I'm pretty impressed with this - although it's also fair to say we're living in good time for themed airplane livery with this and the Star Wars planes in one year!

What threw everyone is that it dosen't after midnight. Toronto (YYZ) like most city airports have strict noise procedures after certain hours (midnight in our case). We have to land on the preferential noise runways (unless weather dictates otherwise).

It could be the most high powered VIP you could imagine...after midnight he has to land on the same runway everyone else does.

When this Westjet came, orders came down from on high that they would land on a VERY non noise preferential runway. No one could figure out why obviously. If a VIP dosen't get it, why is Westjet..would have been the thought!

Hopefully I can get into the hangar soon as I think these "themed" planes are pretty cool personally.

Of course its no ANA Star Wars jet or the Hello Kitty one as its so much better! Given the fact I am not the most patient flyer especially when its comes to long flights, I'm sure this plane would help me out given my Elsa fanboyness.
