New Gravity Group roller coaster in Texas?

So I was reading Screamscape and Lance said that he was hearing something about a possible wooden shuttle roller coaster being designed by The Gravity Group for ZDT Amusement Park in Seguin, Texas. I then stumbled across a link on Screamscape about the press events for Tuesday at IAAPA. There is an announcement scheduled at the Gravity Group booth with ZDT Amusement Park.

Looks like a new GG woodie for the states, which is good for those guys, but I would expect this ride to be around the same size of the Quassy, Grona Lund, and Story Land woodies, but who knows, they might surprise us.

Wasn't it GCI who has been showcasing a shuttle woodie for the last couple of years at IAAPA.

 

I'm excited also to see the CedarFair Triotech announcement. Knott's is expected and are the only park in the chain outside of MIA Not to announce 2015 yet. I wonder if the Knotts Dark Ride will feature Garner Holt for the trifecta?

Yes they have:

 

 

M&V, (who builds most GG designs) has been advertising a launched shuttle coaster that looked sort of similar to the Schwarzkopf shuttle loops, minus the loop, of course. It was said it would have the longest sustained airtime moment ever.

 

 

This hill is supposed to produce that moment.

I read that as well. It's an interesting project, and would definitely bring an unknown FEC into the spotlight.

I always see the ZDT's park signs on my way to SFFT. I've never had a reason to stop. I'm hoping this is my reason to.

When I look at that concept, I honestly can't help but think of the RollerCoaster Tycoon games with 6cars enabled. Still, would definitely be cool to see a wooden shuttle!

 

Now if RMC could pick up on this idea and make their own variant of a Schwarzkopf shuttle-loop...
