tngdiablo Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 Why must Australia be a day away...on a plane! Ugh.
Sir Clinksalot Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 Thanks for the photo's Ian. That coaster looks absolutely amazing. I think you guys are making up for all of your years of neglect with this one coaster. Gregg "Now I want to go to the Land of Oz even more" C.
CoasterCrazy Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 The more I look at the pictures the more I want to ride it! This coaster is going to be awesome, I have go to Australia one day!
maliboomer Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 Hopefully I'll get there in late 2006!
rabid disney Posted September 29, 2005 Author Posted September 29, 2005 At work they are holding a raffle for staff only. It cost $1 a ticket and the prize is to be the first train load on superman. The ticket says the ride could happen late november or early December. And the money goes to the starlight foundation which is a sick kids fund down here. Anyway I have bought $50 worth and may get more if tickets start selling more. I feel like a kid in willy wonka looking for a golden ticket.
matty_o_911 Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 Great to see a picture from inside the building - I was really hoping that Movie World would permit you to take pictures from inside. Do you know if they are going to continue to allow you to do so for us to be able to follow the process of theming etc.? Nevertheless, I really can't wait to ride this at the end of the year. When I was at Movie World on Tuesday I just couldn't help but stand around the front of the park admiring this beautifully photogenic coaster and no doubt once theming is completed it will look even more amazing. The interior theming no doubt will look extremely good too - if I remember correctly this is supposed to be themed to a subway? - so I can just imagine how perfectly the queue would work with a subway station loading area for the coaster. Movie World last Tuesday was the busiest I have ever seen it (I didn't even bother going on most of the rides because the queues were so long) so no doubt this is what can be expected after Superman opens but no doubt the ride will be worth the wait.
socalMAN123 Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 MUST GO TO AUSTRALIA! You'd be surprised how much I'm drooling right now. This coaster looks like a work of art. Looks like it is gonna be really fun. ---Brent 8)

rollermonkey Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Hmmm, Xmas 06. Australian gold coast? It's not that far from Japan. Hmmm.... Chris B
DATman Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 what is really great about this ride is that it will not just turn and launch-if you look at the inside photo, you will see some straight track at the bottom. It looks AMAZING, and i hope to ride it sometime in my life.
