CaptainUnknown Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 This was my first attempt at making a juicy Lucy where cheese is cooked on the inside of the patty. It was a little pinker than I usually like, but I didn't want to burn the interior cheese as that can and does happen with these burgers. 2
Nrthwnd Posted July 21, 2022 Posted July 21, 2022 ^ Looks great! Hope it tasted as good as it looked. 1
Nrthwnd Posted August 18, 2022 Posted August 18, 2022 Here's photos and an ad for what the Singapore McDs is currently offering: That is - a lot of cheese, there. The whole thing has gotten mixed reviews on it.
Nrthwnd Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 ^ I think it's a mozzarella "patty" there. Circular in shape. So it, and the chicken patty practically look the same.

Nrthwnd Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 ^ Hey hey! How you doing? We're fine, here. Summer still meant staying close to home, etc. Got back into seeing live theatre, YES! And being able to do lunch at a fave burger place on The Drive,..... Vera's! Awesome burgers with equally great sides, too. http://www.verasburgershack.com/
CaptainUnknown Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 Another attempt at a Juicy Lucy. Wish it had more interior cheese, but was still quite juicy and delicious.

Mcdonalds uses Mozarella sticks in their chicken burger: But most have patty style. Here's Burger Kings current one: And Lotterias:
Dan the Coaster Man Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 No picture, but today I had a burger STUFFED with bacon. Never heard or seen it before. It was okay.
Nrthwnd Posted October 10, 2022 Posted October 10, 2022 For those in the U.S. who absolutely have to have a Happy Meal, even at their 'elder age'.... here .... Not available in Canada. Or the rest of The World. Boo.
Nrthwnd Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 ^ ...... or ..... is it a Messy Jessie .....? 1
CaptainUnknown Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Don't know if anyone needs to know this, but McDonald's will sell a side of bacon if you ask for it. It went on a burger I recently made, and paired it with an order of fries which I covered in cheese.
CaptainUnknown Posted January 17, 2023 Posted January 17, 2023 This Juicy Lucy was stuffed not only with cheese, but with bacon bits as well. Bacon grease also lubricated the buns. 1
Nrthwnd Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 ^ "Grease is the word!" (Borrowed from that movie with John Travolta and Olivia Newton John)
CaptainUnknown Posted February 12, 2023 Posted February 12, 2023 Tonight's dinner included bacon-wrapped cheese curds and a cheese curd-topped burger. The burger wasn't that good, but I'll definitely eat the bacon curds again. 1
edels Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Homemade burgers are sill the best. I’ve always also loved Chinese food, but sometimes I wonder how many calories are in the dishes I’m ordering. I found an article on BetterMe that breaks down the calorie content of common Chinese food items https://betterme.world/articles/chinese-food-calories/ . It’s great to know what’s in my meal, especially when I’m trying to stay mindful of my nutrition. 1
