Mmmmmmmmm... Burger.

This was my first attempt at making a juicy Lucy where cheese is cooked on the inside of the patty. It was a little pinker than I usually like, but I didn't want to burn the interior cheese as that can and does happen with these burgers.

^ I think it's a mozzarella "patty" there. Circular in shape.

So it, and the chicken patty practically look the same.

No picture, but today I had a burger STUFFED with bacon. Never heard or seen it before. It was okay.

Don't know if anyone needs to know this, but McDonald's will sell a side of bacon if you ask for it. It went on a burger I recently made, and paired it with an order of fries which I covered in cheese.

This Juicy Lucy was stuffed not only with cheese, but with bacon bits as well. Bacon grease also lubricated the buns.

Tonight's dinner included bacon-wrapped cheese curds and a cheese curd-topped burger. 

The burger wasn't that good, but I'll definitely eat the bacon curds again.

Homemade burgers are sill the best. I’ve always also  loved Chinese food, but sometimes I wonder how many calories are in the dishes I’m ordering. I found an article on BetterMe that breaks down the calorie content of common Chinese food items https://betterme.world/articles/chinese-food-calories/ . It’s great to know what’s in my meal, especially when I’m trying to stay mindful of my nutrition.
