Pedrinho
^ And I hope they don't dare to deliver them cold or soggy!
Nrthwnd
^ You take your chances, when you are dealing with looong distance delivery. Speaking of delivery, we have been tempted to order something that accommodates home delivery, by a lot of local companies offering such a service. We do know the usual 'minimum' order is $20, which is fine for us. But with burgers and such, we'll have to pick a local, somewhat pricey place to order from... But that'll be okay. We'll get fries & onion rings, too.
Nrthwnd
Apparently it's National French Fry Day, today up here in Canada. Pair fries with A Bur-Ger of course! Great example: Vera's Fries!
DoinItForTheFame
I'm just now realizing that it has been FAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRR tooooooo long since I've had a really good burger. I might need to change that this weekend.

anonymouscactus
I had a Frozen Wegmans mushroom no-meat burger thing. SO GOOD!!! Just kidding. Yeah... never again. My health is deteriorating so I tried something new.... ugh. I need a real burger to get this awful taste out of my mouth....

CaptainUnknown
^It held together fairly well. But it was still quite juicy/greasy. Lots of finger-licking required.
Nrthwnd
http://www.tdrexplorer.com does various food reviews in the Tokyo Disney Resort. In this case, it's one of the many eateries you can find in Ikspiari mall, which is outside the two parks. Easy to get to via mono-mono-monorail. Here's photos of a burger place there. Along with where to find the review of it... https://tdrexplorer.com/kua-aina-review/ Can't miss the place. In case you didn't know, it's based in Hawaii. I just love Japanese plastic food displays. And I want that coffee mug! The burger the reviewer bought. Looks awesome enough, to me! And thanks tdrexplorer.com for all the great photos! CaptainUnknown
I cooked this burger in bacon grease. Very greasy and extremely unstable. Unfortunately, the bacon grease added very little flavor to the burger.
Nrthwnd
^ No comment. And Sunset Walk Orlando is holding an inaugural Best Burger Contest, with the gp purchasing tasting cards and sampling burgers from 12 different businesses! Here's the link to it: https://www.sunsetwalk.com/events/best-of-challenge-burgers-edition/ Now how in heck can one "sample taste" one of these??? Photo from SWO. CaptainUnknown
A burger with some melted, shredded cheese placed on the bottom bun, a slice of cheese melted on top of the patty, and an egg cooked in the same skillet.
Nrthwnd
What is it, about having an egg on a burger, that is great? Just asking, because I'm not one for having a burger that way.
CaptainUnknown
For me, personally, it's the texture of the egg white combined with the juices of the yolk--especially a really runny yolk. It almost acts like a little sauce packet on the burger. To each their own, I guess.
Nrthwnd
Mmmmmmmmm....BACON! Just found this great "chart" to show how different ways of cooking BACON using (roughly) same cooking times used, with... Baking (Parchment) is in the middle of it all, and seems to be The One that got a 10/10 score, after all were tried. And eaten. <g> Something to know, when you want that bacon on your burger! https://getpocket.com/explore/item/we-tried-8-methods-of-cooking-bacon-and-found-an-absolute-winner?utm_source=pocket-newtab
CaptainUnknown
^ I was debating whether or not to post this burger since I know you're not the biggest fan of eggs on burgers, Bill, but I love the idea of the burger too much. The cheese isn't on top of the patty--but on top of the bacon. The only other time I've seen this done is at the cafeteria at the community college I attended (where the burgers were made to order and were actually delicious--some of the best burgers I've had actually). While the cheese didn't melt all that well, it was still a delicious burger--especially the bacon.
