Cavs Fan Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 I don't know what it is, I just like the rct2 graphics. I also would like to see different track angles and different views.
StarWars Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 If only NoLimits added the option for multiple coasters and the flat rides from NoLimits Fairground, with the addition of visitors, there would be no need for RCT4. Since NL2 is adding the ability to "snap" to the ground (even 3ds ground), you would even be able to walk around the park. To make it complete, stalls and shops could be added for people who want the financial factor. I know this is all a dream, but can anyone imagine what a skillfull person could create with these options? Look at what people do now with the options that they have!
punk1211 Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 From my point of view the game is not that awesome but still they can add some more cool and realistic features into it. I prefer to play games like NFS and the games of EA sports
Pure Impurity Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 I like the concept of the Thrillville franchise, but it's not realistic enough. I would make it more realistic, and add an online feature (win!) Â That's my ideal RCT4.
Mastersax68 Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 I would like to be able to toggle between RCT2 and RCT3 graphics if at all possible. That way you could get POV's but still be able to look at the ride in RCT2's graphics.
SunsetKali Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 I would love to see that realism stated earlier with a No-Limit style coaster design engine. Â I also would like to see the companies in there also, that's a good one. Â One problem I've always had is i would like to get rid of the grid. That way I could turn tracks, flat rides, paths, and stalls in any direction that I wanted them too. Â But if Atari is going to continue to make the RCT games from here on out, you can forget about it being any good.
BelgianGuy Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 Would it even be played?..  Lets be honest and aknowlidge we're being spoiled with the great work the CSO creators are doing with scenery and even custom cars, flat-rides and all that stuff  I'd say w're already past RCT4 when it comes to what we can do with RCT3 already...
HPCrazy Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 I agree with BelgianGuy. I have downloaded lots of different and unique CS sets since they've been coming out. I'm even amazed at the amount of CFR's that are popping up as well. If these people are willing to put in their time to help improve the game for us, then let them continue to have a go at it. With all that's available, why need RCT4?
Dailey Enterprizes Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 ^ You'll want RCT4 because only so much can be done with that graphics engine. A game can always improve. Do you think people would have said the same thing about GTA3 if they knew about GTA4? Also the game-play sucks in RCT3 and it gets boring fast as a result. I am sure if the RCT4 project was given to the right people then we'd get a game that is visually attractive and fun to play.
SunsetKali Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 You're right, but as long as Atari is holding the rights to the RCT franchise, you can forget about that.
liftsifter Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Why doesn't Chris Sawyer redo RCT and call it like Amusement Park Creator Thing. AND NOT INVOLVE ATARI AT ALL.
SunsetKali Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Yes Chris Sawyer needs to take control of the series again! And no EA either. They need a company that will let him have control of the game to return the game to RCT 1 & 2 glory
BaMiTsPaT Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 I know this conversation has drifted drastically from the first page, but what really bothered me about the third RCT game is that rides you built in the back of the park, no matter how good, were always ignored on large parks...I want a more realistic peep engine that would attract guests not only based on their proximity to a ride, but also to a ride that is really good because I can't keep building these hyper coasters at the gate anymore its driving me nuts Another thing, I would really like to see them return to the classic rct2 graphics but with a more updated ride list such as rct3 had... I hope something comes out soon but I won't keep my fingers crossed.
coasterdude5 Posted August 15, 2010 Author Posted August 15, 2010 Atari is taking suggestions for the next RCT game: Â http://forums.atari.com/showthread.php?t=6853 Â Interesting! Could this finally be the RCT4 we've all been waiting for? It sounds like they're in the brainstorming stage right now.
Rocket Rodder Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 I got spoiled by NoLimits.... Â I now find the interface for RCT3 a bit too blocky... More realism would be nice. The option for Mas Catwalks!
davisal771 Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 I think it would be nice if they included more elements or a more realistic way to build rides, sorta like a dumbed down no limits.
championdan14 Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Put this on the home page, Its important! :L
coasterdude5 Posted August 16, 2010 Author Posted August 16, 2010 Something from the games forum on the homepage? I don't think that's possible!!!
chemical_echo Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 I stopped reading after the first page of "suggestions." Â Coaster building like NoLimits? Play NoLimits; RCT has always been more about the parks then the coasters. Â Â Personally, I'd love building the parks like RCT2, but being able to switch to a 3D view like RCT3
ANJLOVER14 Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Personally I'd love the 2d view like rct2, but with ride-your-own-rides kind of thing from rct3. Also, better peeps would be greatly appreciated.
Foxy Roxy Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Allow for a RCT2 isometric view and designing setup.
