I rode the Pepsi Max Big One too when it was snowing on the first day Blackpool opened this year, it wasn't a nice experience, but neither is riding the Big One on a good day.

I've been to SFNE quite a few times in snow (hell, once during a full-blown early November snowstorm). It's very possible up here. It typically starts snowing in mid to late October and SFNE and the Lake don't close until the end of October or beginning of November. We got upwards of 6" during a storm in late 2000 at SFNE. In 2001, I rode Superman when it was 24*F.

Ive riden one in the snow! While it was snowing, not on the ground, and a HARD snow too.

It was Six Flags Elitch Gardens last day of operation, Halloween, people in park, 50, weather, snow all day. It was actually really cool! Twister II in the snow was so cool. It was really kind of stunning when you rode Tower of Doom and you saw snow covering the park.

But the only way you could really ride, is like if you had 2 winter coats, and hoods. We'll there wasnt really anypoint in riding when you couldnt see anything.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach doesn't close in Snow.

The Big One in February, about 9degrees celcius, going up 200ft with chilling winds and a snow storm setting in.... Lovely

Fine. Every major park in the United States closes for the season before there is a risk of snow.

I have ridden every coaster at PKI in the snow. Care to change your blanket statement?

I rode Big Thunder Mountain and Indy while there was snow at Disneyland Paris during the winter months.

By the way you can also enjoy the speed of coasters during winter, look at my pictures for our awesome bobsleigh ride at the worldcup track in Königssee, Germany

After more than 80 mph (about 120 kmh) and 80 seconds our ride was over...

Sure! Here is a pic of Big Thunder Mountain at DLP in the snow at dusk

That's a really pretty photo. Well done.

Have you got a hi-res version I could use as a desktop image?
