QueerRudie Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Is the coaster in a corporate park? Nope. One more clue: HARVARD
Skycoastin Steve Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Meteor at Little Amerricka. Ivy = was originally located at Kiddytown in north Chicago, near Wrigley Field Logs = built out of wood Illinois = originally located in Illinois Bolt = many bolts hold it together Supernova = space event, meteors are also in space
PSiRockin Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Casino Pier's Jet Star. It's on a pier over the water, so it's above clams and submarines could pass by. The park desired to sell it, but couldn't as it was too old. Star=supernova? Logs hold up the pier. Havard...well, the Jersey Shore cast isn't Harvard material. It's a steel coaster with bolts.

I like the thoughts... especially about the Jersey Shore, but it's not the right coaster...
QueerRudie Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 OK: We've seen people get so close they could SMELL THE PARTS of it- and there is still some "DESIRE" to see the game come to an end, If somebody went to an IVY LEAGUE school like HARVARD, They could end up with a WIN. NEW CLUE: COLLAPSE
QueerRudie Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Is it a wooden coaster? It is not a steel coaster!

QueerRudie Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Congratulations! We have a winner! Coasterguy06 has hit the winning coaster with Lincoln Park's Comet. Please send me an e-mail at QueerRudie@themeparkreview.com with your name and address, and I'll pass that on to the powers that be! As for the clues: HIDDEN: Lincoln Park is very well hidden- and now what's left of the ride is hidden by overgrowth STEEL: Steel rails on the wooden track BOLT: Larger than average bolts were used on this National Amusement Design coaster SUBMARINE: Comet was painted yellow for many years (and the Beatles DID do a YELLOW submarine!) LOGS: What the ride is now used for, and was made from at one point. "DESIRE"- In the last year Comet operated, U2's DESIRE was a #1 hit- in 1988. IVY and HARVARD: Boston, and the Ivy League- not too far away from Lincoln Park and the Comet SUPERNOVA: An astronomical term, like the Comet is. COLLAPSE: The lift hill collapsed in 2005 ILLINOIS: Lincoln comes from Illinois... So many of you got close with that clue Thanks for playing- I had a great time with this, and I hope to do this again in the future! R.D.
XYZ Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Congrats, I knew the answer all along and I know this may sound weird but only ernierocker understands what I am saying.
ernierocker Posted October 7, 2011 Author Posted October 7, 2011 (edited) Another round coming tonight! Tell your friends! P.S. The prize for tonight's contest will NOT be a Bag of Crap! But, what could it be... Edited October 7, 2011 by ernierocker
ernierocker Posted October 8, 2011 Author Posted October 8, 2011 (edited) One hour until the contest begins! Tonight's contest will be a bit different than the others. There will be five rounds. For each round, you will have to guess the coaster I am thinking of. Once, all five coasters have been figured out, we will have a final round consisting of the 5 people who were able to correctly guess the coaster. And what are you playing for you ask??? Your choice of any of the FIVE Roller Coasters In The Raw DVDs, as well as Roller Coasters In the Raw HD!!! That's right, I have raided Robb's DVD stash which means one lucky person will have a brand new Raw DVD in their possession! Remember, one hour from now! Good luck! This could be yours!!! ernierocker Posted October 8, 2011 Author Posted October 8, 2011 The First Round begins now!! No clues, you will need to ask me questions to figure each coaster out. P.S. Since, there are five rounds, these will be considerably easier than past contests. Go!!
ernierocker Posted October 8, 2011 Author Posted October 8, 2011 Steel or Wood? Steel Stateside or foreign? Stateside Is it currently operating? Yes. New or Old? What is your definition of new or old? Inverted, sitdown, or standup? sitdown
