CD
Here are some pictures that you've already seen before! my camera takes horrible night pictures. I appologize in advance. I love this facade, actually I love this whole scarezone. This is how a scarezone should be done! Just in case you forgot where you were Entrance to the Hollowed Past And the biggest posse goes to Fear! "What!?!?!" No Madonna... I said Posse, POOOSSSEEEE. He even looks great sans posse creepin' "I read on the inernet that they're gonna tear this ride down!" "No way where did you read that?" "Screamscape" Jack and Chance! I already warned you about the night pics! Fear even looks cool at night, how do they do it!?!?! This one was not camera shy Universal knows that fire makes everything better, and there's a ton this year! nomnomnom these two were dancing fools! This was not an easy pic to get, she was running all over the place! But I did it for you TPR, I did it for you... pictures don't do this scarezone justice (well at least mine don't). It looks great, it's just not scary Edited October 4, 2010 by CD
CubanGringo
That SINdy doesn't seem that in character, the one that runs around and talks your ear off deserves props though.
CD
^ She was actually really good and talkitive. I was about to take her picture, and she said "wait, I want to give you a different picture!" and she came right up to the camera like she did in the picture. She liked to cling to Jack though. CubanGringo
Nvm then haha, I wasn't lucky enough to experience any different casts in the scarezones over the three nights I went. I find it pretty funny that she hung around Jack considering Jack's victims were kiddies.
BBparks57
Just got back from another solid night at HHN...wasn't planning on going but my friend convinced me to go. I am heading back on sunday with some people who have never been, so that should be pretty fun. Saw the Menace part of the magic show and was not to impressed. Maybe Malice or what ever the other one is called will be better. I have now done all the houses twice, and I got to experience a ton more in Hades. I Still think Legendary Truth, Hades, and Hallowed past are my top three favorite. Â I also liked how towards the end of the night when the lines were virtually non-existant they started breaking us up into smaller groups. Was much better that way! orlandinorules5
Yes. It's staying under "annual maintance" until futher notice (they say 3-5 months).
Hilltopper39
Anyone who has been this year have any advise on what haunts are best to hit before the sun goes down while it is still fairly light outside?
Hilltopper39
Thanks for the advice Tyler, we attended this past Sunday with the add-on ticket that allows you to enter the studios park at 2 then stay in the courtyard by Finnegans while they change over the park for the event. We were able to get through Legendary Truth and Hades before 6:00, then had the 20th anniversary house, Catacombs, Orphanage, and Zombiegeddon done before 7:15 without express passes. Â We had a good time even though the event felt very average this year to me. A few good houses and a lot of average houses, and the Bill and Ted Show was awful. It seems like every year this event gets very mixed reviews the opinions of the enthusiasts community to the general public. Everything I've read on TPR and other review sites about HHNXX was that it is a little down this year, but all the reviews from non enthusiasts friends I have and other "non enthusiasts media" says that this year is one of the best reviewed, scariests, and best years ever. It's funny because every year the houses that I like and the houses that are a consensus TPR favorite aren't necessarily a public favorite. And also every year for me there is a house that I really like that the public and TPR will find not as good. I understand everyone has their opinion and thats fine but I also find it interesting that there is never a consensus overall #1 BCS champion kinda favorite house from the opinions of coaster enthusiasts, HHN enthusiasts, and general public alike. Just an observation, but I guess its a god thing that everyone can find something from the event every year that they like.
Gambit
Ross- a "very average year" is a very accurate way of describing HHN XX. Sounds like you felt just about the same way as I did. It's always tons of fun but they definitely didn't break any new boundaries. Â And, yes, being in the park for the switch-over makes ALL the difference in seeing everything without Express. MrMorgan
So, we just got home from our first ever HHN weekend! We were there on Friday the 29th, and used our Stay and Scream tix to wait in the area back by E.T.. I was totally shocked that we got 5 of the houses done before it even got dark! Boom boom boom, one to the next. We had a great time, but it was different than I expected. The fun factor may have been effected by the fact that we had been up since 5:30 am. That morning was the last day of our cruise, so we had to get up, disembark, get to our hotel, check-in, leave our bags cuz our room wasn't ready, then head straight to the park... by midnight, we were both reeeeeally dragging. I think the event is a great idea, but I also noticed the crowds get a little rowdy and definitely non "family atmosphere" like. Of course, I know that it is NOT marketed towards families, but here are a list of things I saw that suprised, or even shocked me: Â 1) Zombie bartender betches screaming at people to buy their alcohol. Quote "Jeezus Kreiiist, people, it's Halloween Horror Nights! Buy some shots!!! Goddammit, you are all so boring!" Â 2) Line jumping allllllll over the place in the Mummy line. Â 3) People having full-on sex in the handicapped stall of the men's bathroom. (I ALMOST made a video, but I decided that would be un-polite ) Â 4) I swear I saw two guys smoking crack/meth in the line for Simpsons. I sh-t you not! Â Is that what it's always like? ginzo
Is that what it's always like? Â Pretty much. HHN attracts some real drunken idiots. In one maze this year, a woman behind me kept falling over and grabbing onto me to break her fall. It happened like 20 times. I was ready to brain her. SharkTums
Friday and Saturday nights are always a bit out of control like that. I actually only saw one 'issue' on our visit on a Thursday night.

Guy T. Koepp
^They're only breaking the rules if they're not handicapped. The cripps & tards can use that stall for whatever they want. More power to them.
